Though I signed up for Nofap website account some while ago (may be within last one year) but at that time I didn't take up any challenge as logging in to the website felt burdensome to me at that time and I was not on Reddit.

But I am serious now and have joined the NoFap sub-reddit today only and would be starting my streak from today.

My largest streak was 3 months, the time during my college days around 4-5 years ago when I associated with the Hare Krishnas. Their process of chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra helped me a lot to calm down my mind and remove unnecessary thoughts. But most important was the association of devotees which I got there. I feel association of like minded people is the key to success.

After that when I left the college I am again in the trap and can't find a Hare Krishna nearby. So, I remembered this NoFap Community which I got introduced somewhere on the internet, may be while searching for how to quit this hell. I am happy to see that there are people in the West also who understand that the sex arousing activities are causing a serious damage to the future generations of the world with crooked minds and bodies. Previously, I felt that all people of West are only after encouraging sex as is portrayed everywhere from Hollywood movies to commercials to pornography. I even thought that what they show in porn actually happens in the West anywhere and everywhere. But now after reading posts of the western brothers it appears that it's not true everywhere but true only in the corrupt minds of the porn script writers and might be somewhat spreading from there.

These are some people (or many now) with political and financial powers which makes the whole of the West appear mad and hedonistic.

Thanks for even making such a platform exist. Else everybody out there is after making us lose semen and become sick with their own sick ideas encouraging sex based society with sex arousal based talks, sex arousal based relationship, sex arousal based commercials and advertisements, sex arousal based hellish world. Thus killing all other things like artistic, scientific, spiritual and other important dimensions of life.

My current target is 90 days of "No PMO" starting from today.

What is the function of "Quote" in the comments?

You can use it to quote someone else's comment when you respond to it. I don't actually use it very often. It's helpful if you want to quote several parts, but not the whole thing, I think.
