    Keep it up Noteveragain,

I have had similar dreams if nor weirder. Within the dream it made total sense to masturbate. But upon waking the thought pattern could not stand the light of day. Sometimes I was strong enough to resist  . Other times not . Good for you that your hands were still under your pillow.

Your almost halfway to your goal. Stay strong,

    Geyser

Keep up the good work Noteveragain!

Don't be so hard on you though will all those wet dreams and thinking you might touch yourself during sleep.

The subconscious is a powerful thing, and we don't control any of it.

There is so much right now that you can fight and control in your real life, during your awake time. And you are doing great at that! Really proud of you.

But don't lose to much energy on dreaming stuff... For me, I think it is a secondary battle. If you win the first one, in the awake zone, you will have done so much for yourself, your boyfriend, and your relationship.

I edited my couner because I still have sex (with my bf), so orgasms. But no P or M since almost 18 days :D

    So happy!

    Keep it going Noteveragain,

Sex with your bf should help the rewiring process. These are the healthy connections we should have made and reinforced years ago. Hopefully you are beginning to see an improvement in your sex life and your orgasms.

There are probably still some tough days ahead on our journeys, but stick to your guns and things will keep improving. Hopefully to the point that sex and intimacy seem better than you can ever remember. These are the days that make the struggles worthwhile.

Remember, there are people here that are willing to help or even just listen if you need an ear to bend. None of us are alone in this.

    You are doing great,

    Geyser

    Thanks Geyser!

Things are going good! I don't feel the urges so much anymore. The first week I had very difficult moments during the day. Now I even miss some connection to porn. If I try to think about it, it is more difficult than ever to get to images or videos in my head. I think this is a good thing. My brain is forgetting about all this. I still miss P and M in some way, but I know it is worth it!
Sometimes it is weird how thoughts go in your head. You think: i want to quit, but on the other hand I want to watch/do some. Two completely different thoughts.

    Day 19 already!!

    Thanks Geyser!

    Hi Noteveragain,

    Keep up the great work.

It is not unusual to miss something you've given up. Even if it is unhealthy for you. Especially when it has been such a big part of your life. I also have times when I miss PMO and want to do it just because I know I would enjoy it. What we have to keep reminding ourselves is that there are healthier and better ways to fulfill these needs and desires. It feels great to masturbate, but sex and intimacy with someone you love feels even better.

One more week and you will reach your goal!!! Have you given any thought to what comes next?

Keep up the great work. I look forward to congratulating you on August 18th.

Best of Luck on your journey Noteveragain,

    Geyser

Almost, almost!! I am doing good! I dont feel the urges so much anymore.

So what is next? :D I am thinking about doing 31 days more :D so my next goal will be: 31 days more! Yeah!

Of course it wasnt an easy road, but i feel well about it now! I am proud of myself that I can do this!

I still need to work on my self esteem. I dont have this :( i am very sad that i am not secure about myself. I have a chronic illness that keeps me away from living a full life. I dont work or school, because i cant because of my illness. i feel very bad about this.

    Congratulations Noteveragain.

You successfully made your 31 day goal. Everyone here knows how difficult it can be and how much work it takes to beat this addiction of ours.

Glad to see you decided on your next step. I, myself, have not but am only a third of the way through my initial challenge. But I am checking off each tier as I pass it. And that makes me feel good about myself.

Sorry you have a chronic condition but I think that makes what you have achieved all the more admirable.

Let us know if you need help on the next 31 days. We will still be here supporting you and available whenever you need help.

    Best Wishes,

    Geyser

Thank you so much Geyser!! You support me a lot through this process!

My new challenge is already in my counter. New 31 days!

How can you make or get 2 counters?

Geyser, you are doing a good job too! Every time it will go a bit better!

Good Going. Include Physical workout and meditation in your routine, and set some target like if you want to shed weight than set some target for next 20 days..if you want to run 5 km than set a deadline to achieve this goal, trust me physical workout + meditation and some targets in both activity will boost your self esteem like anything :)
We are having similar counters. Pray that we both accomplish our goals. Cheers :)

Thanks krazykhan786. Thanks to you I thought about working out. So now i am working out three times a week. My goal is to run 5 km in 10 weeks :) I hope it will give my self esteem a big boost. I really need it!

An even bigger goal for me is to stop eat candy and sugar! That is why I have two counters now! I really need a counter for it, because when i start eating candy or sugar, i can not really stop eating from it the days after. It is probably going to be my biggest goal to eat no sugar for 28 days! Even bigger than not M or P!

    Wish me luck!!

    @ noteveragain:

I remember like a week ago I also made a new goal, of cutting out so much juices and soda like your candy and sugar goal. I've been drinking water like a fish now. Lol. It's practically a hobby now.

Best of luck on your abstinence from eating candy and sugar!

I must say you are doing great! I wish my ex girlfriend would have realiced the dangers of porn too. She is really addicted, just like me, but she would never give it up. Life goes on and I am on my way to recovery, and so are you!

Good luck with the no-sugar thing. When I first cut carbs from my diet, I found that chicken broth really helped to make me feel better when the carb-flu set in.

Good luck with running as well. Signing up for a local 5k can help provide a bit of extra motivation to stick with the training.

Everything is going good!! No P or M since 46 days!! So happy about it.

i relapsed with the sugar though... Yesterday it was hot and I ate an icecream. So i have had some sugar.
I feel a bit guilty now, but i am still going on with not eating sugar.

Candy and Sugar is an innocent habit but if its an addiction ...than its good to see you are equally serious to overcome it :)

So far in my journey i have realized there is so much things to do in life that 24 hours are less. I mean had we just focussed on all the Right To Do Things in Life, we wouldn't have fallen into prey of such vice. So Simultaneously working on other goals in life is very beneficial other than just sticking to achieve the streak or no. of days without pmo on this forum.
Let me know when you achieve your 5 km running target, I will be very happy to hear from you. All The Best :)

I had a spat with ice cream the other day too. I was feeling good so i got a cone. I was feeling guilty too but than i realized i deserved it. I didnt hoover a whole half gallon just an innocent two scoops on a cone. You deserved it too. Keep up the good work, you are far beyond me.

I have to be honest: sugar is a big addiction for me! Most of the time sugar and P were going hand in hand. The days I ate candy, on that day I also watched porn. The dopamine circle was complete. But the day after I felt super guilty!

I just want to eat it 1 time a month, with some other unhealthy food and then I am happy :)
But P and M: i dont want to do that!

And yeah: sometimes we deserve something nice, like candy or icecream. But it has to stop after that, and not eating it for weeks.

    Thanks everybody for the support!
