126 Days PMO Free, LIFE IS GOOD

Discussion in 'Success Stories' started by green lion eating the sun, Jul 10, 2017.

  1. “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.” I think you can beat your addictions! That's why you are on nofap, you wanna improve, keep calm and carry on, it is never too late to be the BEST YOU :emoji_muscle: :emoji_relaxed:

  2. Or utilize the affirmation "I used to be an addict." Therefore, you are no longer an addict. The past is the past. Remember the phrase "let bygones be bygones." From this point on, we choose! Let's overcome this before it takes control of us. We can do it because life is so much better without PMO! :)

A non addict can take it or leave it. An addict either is in the grips of his/,her addiction or in recovery from it. If I was no longer a drug addict, for example, then I could occasionally use drugs with no negative effects. If you can do that with p and m then I will admit you are no longer an addict. It's a fact. If it helps you to say otherwise then do it. Whatever works. That's my last word on it.

  6. where in the world is taking drugs or porn beneficial to people? even if they are not addicted to those stuff, it doesn't mean it is good for them. There are plenty of studies saying what porn and drugs do to your mind and body. What are your goals in recovery?

My goal is to become the guy I believe I was created to be. My true authentic self. It seems you misunderstand what I'm saying. I haven't drank, drugged, smoked, inover 25 years, gambled in almost 2 years , and have been pmo free for 2 weeks. I want to live to the highest in every area of my life physically, mentally spiritually. I want financial health and strong loving relationships. I want the world to be a better place by me being in it. I believe so much is possible that the world says is not. 8 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor told me that I had to have my prostate removed immediately as the cancer was advanced and aggressive. He told me it had reached the wall of my prostate and if it broke thru the cancer would spread thruout my body. I healed my self with live foods, wheatgrass juice, cleansing, and greater reliance on the Spirit. Also alot of forgiveness and resolution of the past was involved - emotional cleansing. I healed a thyroid issue with diet after being told I'd be on medication for the rest of my life. Addiction has been the over riding factor in determining the course of my life and I have great respect for it. I'm not saying it's good to drink or drug on occasion. Or to look at porn now and then. I'm not saying anything like that. What I'm saying is that it's possible for a non addict to easily do those things without serious consequences. For an addict - like me - experimenting with addictive behavior is playing with fire. Here on Earth I've spent slot of time in hell and I never want to go back. So I keep in mind that I - maybe not you - am an addict and always will be. And I can use that same addictive energy to becoming the guy I want to be and living to the highest level, instead of destroying myself and those around me. I'm so adamant on this because I've spent years in recovery from addiction and have witnessed those who thought they were cured- and no longer addicts- go back out and destroy themselves. Some made it back to recovery but not all. So while you may not be an addict I definitely am.

P.s. I wish for you great success in your quest and in every area of your life . I also liked the question you asked me and enjoy the back and forth. I need to keep my mind open to at least trying to understand where another is coming from.

I'll now ask you what you asked me. What are your goals in recovery?

  11. My goals in recovery is to be the BEST ME, a happy, proud person doing the job i was always meant to do, basically having a purpose why i am alive. I know that my purpose and what makes me happy is to help others. Also to be able to have sex in a normal way not like i am in a porn movie and sometimes i hope to find eventually a guy who can truly loves me for who i am

I'd like to someday a woman like that too and have a healthy loving sex and love life together. They say when the students ready the teacher appears. When the guy is ready the woman appears. And vice versa. Or so I believe.
