    Welcome to the fold @-John-. I have heard that claim many times but the only way to find out is to try! PMO (Porn Masturbation Orgasm) is a dangerous mental, and physical, cycle that holds sway over life. Please take the time to research how ridding it from your life can help and im sure you will find the motivation to try.

  3. Just drink more water. Drink around 3.5L of water a day. After 1-2 weeks your face should have considerably improved.
    Also exercise and keep your hand off your face. Don't touch, don't squeeze things, don't feel things. This just makes pimples inflamed and causes dust, dirt and bacteria to get on your face.
    And if it is bad acne please just get medication instead of trying with some bullshit semen retention.

    And open windows, you need more air. Change towels more often, wash pillows, don't shower with hot water, wash your face better.

  7. I PMOd a lot during my teen years and now I am beginning to believe that was a major reason why I had unusually bad skin. I won't claim to know all the specifics, but I think acne can come from a bunch of reasons including stress, and fapping made me a very nervous anxious person in general and not able to do as much sports etc at the time. So I would not be surprised if nofap helps with acne (had read it on some forum as well recently can't recall which post) because it is also related to hormonal balance.

    Nofap is a great choice for many reasons and clear skin would be a great cherry on top of a lot of other psychological healing.

  8. Yea, I think it came out a bit wrong in my post. I didn't mean to tell him to quit nofap, I was just saying that nofap alone isn't going to help much with acne. A lot of people on these forums(don't even talk about the subreddit lol) don't understand correlation vs causation when contributing things to how long they've gone without PMO, because it is usually(almost certainly) those small changes which they've made along with nofap which causes the changes.
    Sorry OP, I didn't mean to discourage you, just meant that there are a lot of better ways to deal with your acne. Also it may be something in your diet such as dairy which is causing it, maybe try remove it for a week and see what happens.

    Please hear me out, this my help you..
    Ive struggled with acne all my life.. i am now 28 and still get breakouts, my skin has improved through the years of trial and error.
    But even now on my worse days i get blackheads almost on every pore on my nose! my nose is almost always red on my bad days! I get cystic pimples on my back and shoulders (the kind that wont pop to relieve the pressure) and I am absolutely fed up!
    Ive tried everything! cleansers, masks, toners, moisturizers, steaming, natural remedies, minocycline, accutane, diet, vitamins, drinking water like a fish you name it!
    However i always had a hunch that masterbating was the main cause for me but i never really committed..it seemed that everytime I orgasmed allmost immediately i would feel little itches on my face and feel drained and dirty & the same afternoon or next day i was guaranteed a big ass painful pimple that would spread like wild fire!
    So i gave nofap a try, at first i lasted about 4 days.. second time i lasted 7 days and let me tell you..
    My skin improved dramatically!! people actually told me i looked healthy, my eyes had alot of colour and i was so confident and comfortable! nothing fazed me, i would talk to woman effortlessly like a smooth criminal of course there are so many factors that could contribute to my skin clearing up but im certain its fapping! my acne was 90% gone from just 7 days of NoFap! but i relapsed as a reward and bam! bid red pimples on my nose! i thought maybe its bs though maybe its stress or something else, so i gave it another try, i got to 7 days again, skin was near flawless! redness completely gone! then i gave in like an idiot! due to my random social anxiety issues i was feeling alittle depressed and low on libido.. i thought id test the old boy make sure hes still kicking you know.. well.. next day later acne returns with vengance! so im starting again and decided to sign up to this site to keep myself in check cause im f**kng over acne! its killing me and unfair how other ppl have flawless skin and dont have to even try and they eat crap and eat whatever they want and never break out!!
    So the reason i belive that fapping is the cause is because my skin has almost become my highest priority, everything i do works around trying to clear my skin.

    These are the things i do which really make a difference and i hope this may help some ppl.
    1. Dont touch your damn face! leave it alone, everytime you look in the mirror and start picking and popping you just make it worse! if you must pop it to relieve the pressure wash your face and hands first, try not to spread it and keep at sterile as possible, try not to think about it, if you know you have acne just own it and forget about it everyone has pimples! ive seen smokin hot chicks covered in zits but they just hide it with makeup! if your thinking "aw man i wonder how many new zits ive got to pop today" guess what thats exactly what you will get! i believe your thoughts can manifest into reality! so tell yourself your skin will improve and it will trust me.

    2. Dont scrub and cleanse all the damn time! keep it to once a day or morning and night, and use a tiny amount! your typical cleasers and face scrubs etc are loaded with chemicals and crap! its total bs! it works for a little while and your acne comes back! these mudda f***ng companys are making millions cause we keep buying their products that never work! humans werent designed to rely on that crap!
    Use cleansers if you must but use the ones that are free from chemicals and perfumes and have natural ingredients like green tea aloe vera etc
    Even if you splash cold water on your face every morning and before bed you will have much better results than that harsh stuff that only irritates your skin more so youll only buy more cleanser and feed the never ending cycle making some company richer! dont use warm water to often it opens up your pores which allows bacteria in! use cold water to close your pores.

    2. Moisturize! i know what your thinking but trust me i use to think i broke out cause i had oily skin, but in fact i had dry skin, i break out when my skin has no moisture or oxygen to breath, straight after you cleanse your face, apply a small amount of moisturzer to your face, and again dont use harsh chemical perfume type moisturzer crap! use moisturizers with natural ingrediants like aloe and coconut.
    Get yourself a jar of "organic non refined cold pressed coconut oil" this stuff is amazing! and just because its an oil doesnt mean its going to further oil up your skin and feed you puss infected pimples! it has antifungal/bacterial properties and heals your skin!

    3. be mindful of the environment! like sun damage, working outside in the heat, dusty sh** blowing in your face, working on cars getting covered in grease, working up a sweat in the gym and leaving the sweat on your face feeding them pimples, scratching your balls then touching your face, patting your dog then touching your face, cat hair on your face, your own hair on your face the gel/wax from your hair on your face! all this stuff will clog your pores and put bacteria on your face!, if you know your face has been breached by any of the following mentioned go splash some cold water on your face and pat dry with a clean towel immediately!! use sun screen if your out in the sun cause them harmful uv rays will dry out your skin and cause inflamation sun burn etc! use a sunscreen that is oil free and doesnt clog pores!

    4. change your pillow cases and wash your bed sheets atleast once a week minimum! i cant stand when people assume acne is the cause of uncleanlyness and poor hygine but they are right! all the sweat dirt and hair product and old jizz stains will seep into your sheets and pillows and then you roll in it when your asleep and wakeup looking like a damn pizza! besides no girl will ever want to hop into a dirty bed with smelly sweaty greezy sheets and pillows ever! unless she just blocks it out, but everytime ive washed my bedsheets and changed my pillows and cleaned my room like a good man should, i got laid and the girl was allways keen for cuddles and happy and comfy and willing to do more knowing everything was fresh!

    5. Stay away from greasy oily fatty foods! i know it tastes good but where do you think that oil goes? it seeps out your pores and fuels them pimples! Stay away from things that cause inflamation! i use to drink alot of coffee, which made my whole body hot especially my face, which caused inflamation which leads to acne, so i switched to green tea which is meant to be better for you and has anti bacterial properties, also keep dairy to a minimum! i use to smash protein shakes for gym with milk everyday pre and post workout! but thats too much dairy, which contains hormones which stuffs up your hormonal balance causing zits! eat some eggs with salad and chicken and drink water instead!

    6. Keep cool, dont allow your face to get too hot, this will cause inflamation, if your indoors or in a vehicle make use of the air con, but becareful cause too much air con can dry your face out, if you feel hot after a shower or running around or its a hot day, splash some cold water on your face!

    7. stop drinking fizzy drinks! coke, sprite, fanta, and alchohol, its just not good for you man.. cleanse your body with water!

    8. Finally, stop fapping! i am sick of acne and i hate to see my fellow humans suffer and miss out on oppertunities because of their apperance! i know what its like! you will feel better for it, you will become healthier more confident, and if you must.. save it for some chick, pump her full and unleash that build up into her sugar walls, cause if your break out atleast it was worth it!
    what would goku do? what would jesus do? would he be in his room secretly with his phone on pornhub being a little deviant!
    save it for the ladies like it was intended.
    so my journey begains again and i hope i make it to atleast 2 weeks this time!!!
    If i get there and my acne goes away i will be sure to post.
