If you're talking about fiction: Parable of the Sower. I've honestly only read the beginning but I've heard really good things and so far it seems like a cool concept.
Don't know your tastes, most recently I read 100 years of solitude and Wise Blood which are great works of fiction but kind of obscure. If you are feeling adventurous, I'm reading a book called Apocalypse Culture and it has basically flipped the world as I know it upside down, also contains a section related to the difficult truth about PMO.
@tiredofbeingtired I should’ve been more specific, I’m more into self help books. But I just read up some reviews and it really does seem interesting. A lot of ppl in the reviews section didn’t finish the book too lol
@CassTeaElle I’ve added that to the list! I’ve never heard of him but I defiantly need all the wisdom I can get when it comes to managing my money. Btw have you watered This Is Us yet?? Lol I’m legit in love with this show, more than SVU
I've been meaning to get around to it, but I haven't been in the mood to add another heavy show to the list. And yeah, Dave Ramsey is a great! He's a Christian too, which is important.
@Lazarus Shuttlesworth Ha. In that case I recommend 10% Happier by Dan Harris and Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life. The latter also has a documentary on Netflix and one of the authors, Joshua Fields Millburn has appeared on podcasts like the Rich Roll podcast, Lewis Howe's, and Dan Harris's which I highly recommend even if you're not interested in reading the book.
Read 12, 30 pretty much means you're rushing through shitty books. Take your time, and read out loud if you have to. That being said, you should read The Richest Man In Babylon. I personally really enjoy personal finance books.
