As soon as you feel an urge, find something to do, outside if possible. It doesn't matter what, just draw your attention in another direction.

One important piece I just remembered from Tony Robbins: Don't try to negotiate with yourself, it'll beat you every time. Give an absolute brutal order to your body and mind at those times! Like a pitty-less king!
