Does anyone know how to block porn from Smartphones/Ipod touches?

hey nothing that iv tried is perfect but if you go into general,restrictions,websites, you can set it to block all adult materials. You have to make sure that you put a random code into the restrictions so you don't go in and change it as soon as you change your mind. Hope this helps!

 

I couldn't find a way with mine what I ended up doing was deleting the internet completely out of my phone.

 

This is not a complete solution obviously, but to filter your iDevices from WiFi you can setup OpenDNS filter for free and then use it on your router. Any traffic going through the router will then be filtered, including to your phone. Of course you can always use 4G on a phone, but this is useful for a device like an iPod Touch that doesn't have 4G and only WiFi. Also, it may be useful to leave your account password only to an accountability partner, otherwise you can just take down the filter when you are tempted.

Try opendns.com , it's a somewhat easy process that'll block categories of your choice from the router itself , so it'll block them from all devices connected . Sry about my English.

 

K9 has apps for the phone and ipod/tablets.

 

As December said, K9 is available on smartphones and tablets. I would also advise you to uninstall any social media app also cause I've noticed that lots of pictures I saw on fb triggered my relapses.

 

I use K9 .... but it's for PC ... I'm not sure if it is also available for Ipod/tablet

 

It is available on the playstore. I have downloaded it for my smartphone. I guess it is also available on the app store.

 

Use parental control app!

Hey! we are using parental control app for these issues! We prefer Care4teen(http://www.care4teen.com/), it has good firewall allow to track location and has other options. I think it can help.

 

Honestly, all those blockers do not work, becuase you cannot trick yourself.
I tried it 1000 times, and it never worked.

The only "blocker" which works is your mind.

A tip what really helps:

When the "urge" comes, then loudly say "STOP" and STAND UP.

Then lie down on your back, and wait ten minutes. The urge will come .. and go ...

 

Funamo is the best program that you cant get around! You will need to bar facebook though!
But filters will only work for a time... you will ultimately need to develop th muscles of self control to beat this!

 

I would recommend either Funamo or k9 but there is one flaw with both of them. K9 blocks both yourbrainonporn.com and NoFap on reddit which are both helpful websites. And Funamo lasts for 2 days and then you would have to pay for it.

 

You have to add it to the list of sites that cannot be blocked. I think it's called whitelist under settings.
