Money can buy friends

    There is a saying that money can't buy friends.

    However I disagree.

    When you're in a situation where you can give money to individuals, you are communicating that you take them seriously.

    So I shower my friends with gifts and money. They answer my phone calls right away.

    Maybe we can rephrase. .
    Money can buy fake friends. .

    They keep hanging out with you because of money.. But when you start needing for help, it seems like they do not know you.
