Since being on and doing NoFap for the past month (despite the odd relapses), I've noticed a number of improvements and reaping the benefits of NoFap, and from quitting PMO altogether.

Make no mistake, it's not always been a bed of roses when doing NoFap. The hardest period was the first few days to a week with the drastic changes I made.

My mind had more difficulty dealing with these changes than my manhood - staring process of clearing the brain fog. But managing to resist the urges, the temptations and the relapses was as difficult when I gave up smoking. Not wanting to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet here. I've come out the other side a better person from it.

To keep on track and monitor my progress. Also to prevent another relapse and commit to the cause of NoFap. I've had a journal to write my thoughts and feelings as well. Looking back and reading my musings, I've noticed the improvements in myself.

Initially, I started it for physical reasons, but the impact it's made on me is far bigger than I anticipated. NoFap has done me the world of good for the mind, body and soul.

Well, the physical benefits has been that I've waking up pretty much everyday with morning wood - when I don't have Flatline periods. I'm able to get aroused around women I see in person than on a screen. Furthermore, I do get random boners when I least expect it.

I no longer see women as sex objects like I used to. They're people and definitely deserve to be treated with respect. Yeah if I see attractive women, I'd rather to get know them as people - not merely as a means of wanting to bed them. There maybe attractive women out there who know they are. But if they're stuck up bitches or have no personality, then their looks are meaningless to me.

What I didn't expect from doing NoFap is improvement with my skin and hair. For years, I've suffered from terrible acne. But my skin has cleared up a lot and I have a far better complexion. Yeah, there's still scars there, but they'll clear up given the time. My hair though, is thicker and shinier and has more volume too.

I've not sex yet, gone on any dates, or had any relationships since NoFap. But that's not the be all and end all. Don't get me wrong, I would love meet someone to love, share my life and settle down with. But I'm still rebooting and recovering as far as I'm concerned.

Since doing NoFap, I have more energy and feel a lot more empowered. I'm no longer depressed, anxious, irritant or lethargic like I used to be. I've become calmer, more confident and more resilient.

I have a clearer and far more positive mindset. I'm a lot more comfortable socialising with people. The little things such as making eye-contact for example - especially with women. I'm sharper and wittier when I have conversations with people. I've noticed that more people are smiling - or even laughing when I talk to them.

When it comes to dealing with problems. I'm more pro-active by looking for solutions. When it comes to making compromises, I tend to look at the glass half full than half empty.

Prior to having more energy from doing NoFap, I've freed up more time and used it to be more productive. For example, I went on a day out to Alton Towers with one of my friends. Another is going to the Warner Bros Studios Tour in London to see where Harry Potter was made. It's a big world out there. Plenty of things to do and places to see.

Elsewhere, I've given my room a major clear out. Get regular exercise at the gym or going on walks in the countryside, and eating healthier foods and drinking water. These have helped boost my testosterone levels prior to NoFap, and I've been losing weight. I can wear clothes that were very tight or couldn't fit into - like my Star Wars t-shirt for example.

As well as abstaining from PMO, I've made a major cutback or completely stopped using some Social Media sites. I very rarely go on Facebook, haven't been on Instagram for god knows how long, and I'm not using Twitter as often as I used to.

It may sound like a Placebo effect - or even a cliche. These positive correlations alongside doing NoFap is life changing. I'm becoming the person I should have become and wanted to be a long time ago. I'm a lot more comfortable in my own skin. I'm a much happier person living a much more fulfilling life.

To sum it all up, NoFap has done me the world of good. It's not going to be a temporary thing. It's going to be a way of life.

Don't fret about being a virgin. Some women may find that cute that you've preserved your virginity. But you've acknowledged that you need change in your life and doing something about it.
