***The Gratitude Attitude Challenge***

I am grateful for my best friend and his family, who have given me years of friendship and good times.

I am grateful for the food bank at which I volunteer. To know that a place like that exists for those who need it, staffed by people who choose to work in that capacity and volunteers who go there to help others - it's a good thing in what can seem to be a crappy world sometimes.

I am grateful for this site and the ability to come to this community for help.

 

1) I am thankful for having a resource like NoFap to help me overcome what has been a very scary addiction.
2) I am grateful for the people who have researched the science of porn addiction and made their findings available to the public.
3) I am thankful for the ability to heal naturally and completely.

 

Today I got stress anxiety panic attacks. So. Let's be grateful for all of this what has been done:

I am grateful for earning some pocket money by giving russian lessons
I am grateful for one friend who sent me a message on facebook
I am grateful for discovering "No more mr nice guy"
I am grateful for delicious pancake I ate today
I am grateful for physical exercises I did today

I am grateful for all 19 days of abstinence
I am grateful that great friends have visited me yesterday
I am grateful for seeing very old train today
I am grateful for my student, she is improving her russian and she really learnt the stuff I gave her
I am grateful for lessons of russian in general because planning them becomes easier and easier from lesson to next lesson
I am grateful that my bulgarian friend got job recently
I am grateful for 23 celsius today
I am grateful for having a walk in the center of the town
I am grateful for going by funicular which was built 2 years ago in my city
I am grateful for eating ice creams with my friends yesterday
I am grateful for beautiful sight-seeing views in my hometown
I am grateful for kind words I received today
I am grateful that my magical stone survived in whirpool (well, half of it, turmaline black one)
I am grateful for my beard and moustache growing

 

1. I am grateful for another relaxing day.

Three things I am grateful for:

1. Doing my dream job - coaching kids is so much fun and so rewarding.
2. Having a quiet week at work - it's going to be hectic from next week so it's good to get some down time (outside of the coaching).
3. Living in a city as wonderful as Portland, Oregon. This is my second home.

 

I'm grateful for being strong today.

1. Sleep. No seriously, I'm so glad that I can sleep. It would be terrible not to.

1. I am grateful for being able to speak three marketable languages - English, French and Spanish.

2. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to learn from anyone.

3. I am grateful for all the people that have shown me love.

 

I think today's version will be the "Things I bitch about, but really shouldn't bitch about, because others have it worse" edition:

1) I spent part of yesterday cleaning out the basement and I'll be dragging out the lawnmower today to cut the grass ... but I should be more thankful that I have a home. It may have a horribly full-of-junk basement and a yard that is just awful to cut, but it is a lot more than a lot of people have, and I'm thankful for it.

2) I am sweating through some schoolwork and waiting to see if I can continue in my program ... but I'm thankful for the opportunity to pursue my education. I have my faults - MANY of them, actually - but I thank God for the scholastic aptitude I have been given in my field.

3) I am trying to lose some weight and crabby about it ... but I'm thankful to have more food than a LOT of people do. It's actually embarrassing to look at all of the food choices I have and gripe about "I don't know what to eat" when there are those who are not so blessed.

 

I'm grateful for friends who are open minded and listen without judging.

I'm grateful for my good health.

I'm grateful for the food I'm about to eat.
