    Hi all,

I'm a 34 year old guy from Belgium. I have 2 kids and have been divorced for a little under a year now. I consider myself "fairly" addicted to porn, as I saw that as a stress relief for many years now. However, after years and years of keeping that up, I now suffer from ED, a general lack of sexual desire and inability to orgasm more often than not when I'm with my new GF.

On top of that, and because of that I think, I have performance anxiety a lot of the times I'm with her, my stress levels go through the roof. I feel/know that I'm lacking in some ways currently. I have strong feelings toward this girl and would not like to have something like this stand in the way of it going further.

I have no idea what to expect from this. I'm hoping for increased desire, increased testosterone, being able to orgasm (or at least more frequently) when I'm having sex with my girlfriend and perhaps even some help with the ED.

As preparation, I've deleted the several terabytes of porn present on my computer, installed a browser extension to block porn websites (basically to serve as a reminder of what I'm about to do). I plan to get out more and spend a little less time behind the computer screen (I'm a working-from-home, self-employed IT guy, so that's a lot).
I will also try to quit smoking soon, but I'm thinking baby-steps, and not taking on too much at the same time.

Anyways, this was my introduction. I bid you all a great fap-free day/week/month.

    Cheers,
    K

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

OK, K, it is important to have a reason when quitting, a good reason, a reason that is important to you. This habit is a habit we probably would not quit unless it had some bad repercussions in our lives. Cigarette smokers would not quit if it did not affect them adversely. They lose lung capacity and eventually get cancer. There are all kinds of bad results from using porn all the time. From PIED (porn induced erectile dysfunction) to social interaction problems.
"When I quit, I quit. I did not count the days, I woke up every morning and said to myself I am never going back". I think that is the mindset you must have.
