    Hello everyone!

I've been doing this for about a year now, with mild success. I managed to reach 30 days I think. And it was pretty sweet! I felt great and I could really feel and see the difference. I've made some good friends on here, and I am still in contact with some of them from when we were APs. A lot of them have managed to beat they're goal and are doing great. So I know that this is a good thing.

The problem is, I keep failing. Some streaks are better than others, sometimes I've gone from only managing a few hours to 30 days! Hahaha so it's very mixed. I did better about a year ago, so I've been thinking of trying to do this again like a new person. So...

Hello! My names Ben and I'm 19 from the UK. I started M when I was about 13, then P about 14. Then it has spiralled out of control. I found this site about a year ago, and it has been really useful. I want to beat PMO for many reasons, to help me concentrate for study, more time, less money wasted on tissues(haha), increase levels of testosterone for the gym, prevent death grip, hopefully use it to build my confidence and have a girlfriend, but mainly as an exercise in self control.

So my issue is, how to do it. Help? Basically the first 30 days were quiet and then a powerful urge hit and I relapsed. So what should I expect? What's happened to others on this reboot? What should I aim for? What have other people done to beat this? Journal? New AP's? Gym? What have people found that's really pleased/surprised them? What's been the toughest moment for them? Anything that isn't usually talked about? Any lifestyle changes you made? What triggered them? What should I stay away from? What should I do more? What should I read up on?

Yeah a lot of questions, but basically I want to tackle this like a newbie. So absolutely anything you want to say, is really appreciated.

As I write this, I'm at the end of day 6, but today has not been good. Very strong urges, but I managed to beat them-ish.

Please respond with ANYTHING you think might be helpful. :)

Remind yourself why you are rebooting. And remind yourself often. Write it down! Also, think deeply about why you have this issue or why it started. As you progress through your reboot think about how your lifestyle has changed since you were watching porn. These are some of the things that I do that help

You have some interesting questions. Gym has helped a lot; Journaling may help; I don't journal about the reboot usually but I journal about goals and stuff. I try not to have much "down time" because in the past this has lead to PMO. Vigilance is key. Vigilance basically means be careful and watchful of yourself. What has pleased/surprised me is that I didn't flatline for very long, unlike others have experienced on this site. For me I am already seeing benefits in the first few weeks. Tough moments for me is realizing that there are others who don't have, or maybe never had problems with porn. I just feel so behind. But I know it will be worth it. I would recommend less Internet time until after the reboot; There are plenty of things to read up on on this site, which is nice. Hope this helps! :)

I have MANY questions hahaha. I might try another journal, but less focused on NOFAP and more about me. it'll be like my 4th one but whatever! hahah. and I think the amount of members on this website proves that you are not behind! and I regret to report that because of a trigger I saw on YouTube, I am back to Day 0 again, so yeah less internet time definitely! it's nice to know that flatlines can vary, seemed like they were always a prolonged period of time, so hopefully it's the same for me. thanks for the rely mate, good luck!
