I was looking at YBR and found an article well worth reading. In short it says that just not pmo'ing is the wrong approach that its much more. Very similar to what William and Mark and many others write about but in some ways a different take on it. I think he has some great points as well as views and if nothing else informative.

Good luck everyone June is young and has many days left to keep going at it.

Okay, I was skimming along, thinking, Hey! This is good advice!
Yes, fix your life first! Focus on healthy behaviors and meeting goals!.. skim skim skim... and then THIS:

    - - - > "We need to understand that one of the reasons we relapse is because we're pussies that can't handle negative emotions."

    Yikes! There's a bit of a distraction.
And a bit ironic too; the organ that takes an mighty beating bringing new life into the world...
possessed by the gender stereotyped for specializing in emotional wisdom... and that's the slang typical to use.

Pardon me, I'm experiencing some synchronicity at the moment:

Yeah, I know, I'm not the target audience, but WOW.
Not trying to be the word police here or shut anyone down, just food for thought.

Great read, and it covers a lot of what my experience has been in the past year or two.

My story is kind of the reverse. I've managed to build up my social structure, learn new social skills, reconnect with people, and set life goals over the past year and a half. During that time, I've done better with PMO than ever before, but it's still followed me around in the form of physical addiction.

I joined this site specifically to break the physical cravings for PMO, having the confidence that the life I've built before now and will continue to build going forward is strong enough to support me emotionally and psychologically without it.

Definitely a must read. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm i see what you mean e5s. But the majority of it it quite true and congruent. But I can see how it can affect people and make them think hard on it.

    thanks Mrea99 hope it helps.

Congratz Project keep it up. Hmmm sounds like me to. I almost ended it this early year and this time last year. But ya it just comes back but we just gotta fight it.

Nice streaks guys keep it up.

Very good read, definitely a more realistic perspective of NoFap, I needed that. I definitely feel like a complete idiot after my recent relapses now. I might give that book that he mentioned a read too (The Slight Edge).

  8. Wow. That was some truth. Thanks for that!
