Doubts about what is pornographic

Pornography are basically explicit images of sexual activity,organs etc... But in all honesty everyone has a different challenge. IF you want to avoid masturbation basically just avoid things that cause heavy sexual excitement. If you want to abstain from masturbation to orgasm basically avoid all things that give you sexual pleasure to a great extent. It doesn't matter what pornography is, it just matters what YOU WANT to avoid. I hope this made sense

 

I have asked myself the same question over and over. My problem is nudity, either watching others or wanting to walk around in the nude. In fact I find what most people qualify as P somewhat vulgar and disgusting especially where there is violent acts or humiliation. Being catholic I have been told pretty much every one of the above that you mentioned is a sin. I asked myself what's wrong with watching me naked in the mirror. And if it is how long can I look before it becomes a sin, say when I get out of the shower and look at myself in the mirror. At some point you have to draw the line otherwise you become insane. In a few words, if any of the above arouses you and cause you to relapse, then you should try to avoid it. Nudity more often than not will lead to M. And that is exactly why I am here. I am in the medical field and when I get horny I start looking at medical files where there are pictures of medical cases, but I know way inside that I want to see naked people.
From there I go into other cases and pretty soon, I am watching all kinds of cases and I have an erection. Now I am in trouble. Pornography or not, you call it anything you want but if it leads you into wanting to do more and more you are addicted.

No big changes. I still get very aroused by nudity BUT it is easier not to get into P sites. I am not masturbating any more so that is an improvement. The big change is that I am not doing any of that anymore but when I read the word nudity my heart gets going rapidly. Words like undressing, showers, even running water will get me excited. I firmly believe that any content that reveals genitals is pornographic. All five of your questions are rather porn substitutes, it's like switching to light-beer even though you have a drinking problem, which doesn't help any less. Even text can be very stimulating.
