A not-touching-dick-competition?!

    Hey everyone,

I've got problems with my erection since 1.5 years now.
One thought is, that it might be porn-induced (I already went to a doctor, I'm physically fine). I used to watch porn 2 or 3 times a day.
But while I'm doing my own not-PMO-competition I have noticed a few other things:

    - I don't REALLY miss porn after 10 days now
    - But I have the constant urge to touch my penis. Like all the time. I have to fap it, although I don't want to have an orgasm, under the shower, while changing clothes, when going to bed...
    - And I have the feeling that my dick has lost its sensivity in the past months/years.

Now I'm thinking about doing a not-touching-dick-competition, too. I've read that a penis can lose its sensivity when masturbating too "brutal" and too often...
    Any ideas on that?!

I can totally relate to you. Lately I've had the urge to constantly touch my penis and stroke it a few times just to make sure it's still alive. NO ORGASM. I think it's a natural thing for a guy's hand to automatically touch the penis. Sometimes I'm on the computer working and my hand automatically reaches down to my package. It's like it has a mind of it's own. Back in my hardcore masturbation days I would have masturbated a lot until my penis ended up swollen. I wouldn't give it time to recover, and it did feel less sensitive. It's like it grew an extra layer of skin. Poor thing looked all puffy. After 60 days + of not fapping, my dick is back to normal. To answer your question, I think a dick can lose it's sensitivity to a certain extent, but if you give it time to recover it will return to it's original form.

    Keep it up!

My experience when first starting nofap is that my dick feels "heavy" and "itchy" after a few days. I think it's really important to avoid touching however because you'll eventually give in to temptation. I know because it happened to me before. You're going to need to touch it anyway because sooner or later you're going to need to shower. So a competition probably isn't very realistic in my opinion

I have gone 80 days without porn but masturbation still remains an issue. I also find my hand drifting to my nether region while I'm on the computer. It has almost become second nature to reach for my penis as an attempt to stir up some kind of hidden liveliness. I think it has to do with the fact that porn was once a large part of my life and even though it's not anymore sitting in front of a computer still makes me want to beat off.

I would say that it's impossible to not to touch your penis, but to try not to unless it's necessary. Obviously you're going to need to piss and wash yourself so those are given moments, but aside from that abstain. Never touch yourself while at the computer. Never touch yourself any time you feel horny. Make sure when you itch your balls that's all it is and you're hand isn't down there for any other reason. It's a difficult thing to do, I admit it.

Sensitivity-wise I can relate as well. The last time I had sex it was great but my penis literally lacked the vigor it had prior to my addiction. Because I was used the death grip of my hand it took forever for me to get really hard during sex. As a result of this I lasted longer, but I derived less pleasure from the experience. Regardless, the longer you go without masturbation the more sensitive your penis will become. Having sex, at least in my experience, helped to change my sensitivity back to something that wasn't a death grip. Refraining from masturbation or touching your penis in general should do the same.

Same here. Must be a common thing just to touch it every once and a while. Prodding it, if you like.

The penis can lose its sensitivity? I've never considered that at all. It kind of makes me think of knackered games console control pad. I hope I haven't done to much damage to mine.
