    I think it might be nice to have an open yet focused discussion on Semen Retention. Lots of people believe that retaining Semen makes us stronger, some believe that a long interval such as ejaculating once a month is ideal and some say you can do it all you want as long as it's with a real woman.

    One of the members I've been talking to has gone hundreds of days without a release and that includes wet dreams. Is this kind of thing common here?

    What if someone is happily Married with no sexual dysfunction, would anyone here recommend that they have sex sparingly in order to benefit from the effects of NoFap?

    I'm not really interested on how NoFap effects psychology and relationships because there are so many threads about that already.

    My real question is: Does frequent ejaculation degrade your vitality and health regardless of it's context?

    To clarify,

    Many have goals such as reaching 100+ days of NoFap. Since sex is not Fapping it allows us to have sex with a woman and ejaculate without ressetting the counter. Has anyone actually gone over 100 days without ejaculating at all? I know the one guy so far. He's using advanced techniques to avoid nocturnal emmissions.

    Is there a point where the benefits just level off?

    I went a straight month, then ejaculated and then went another month and still counting. My orgasm was not from fapping but I feel that it was still relevant. It significantly affected me in many ways. I'll go into this more if anyone is interested.

    I think the body usually expells semen thru nightfall its uncommon to not have any ejac after 100 days. If you do have a nightfall then I see it as a good sign that your body has recycled enough and absorbed enough stuff to release. Ideally if you're noticing you're having 1 wet dream a month it could be an indicator that you could have sex 1x that month because it was only going to be expelled anyway (that's being super pedantic) but sex a real woman is the goal of no porn to give your brain the real sensation and not rely in fake stuff then afterwards it's up to you to create that new baseline of healthy sex. Because that can be a compulsion toi

    During my longest streak (23 days), I had my first wet dream after 14 days. It was a great feeling to ejac, but the dream I had was about PMOing.
    I am curious about the technique to avoid this emissions? Could you tell us more about this? For me this dreams are some kind of trigger, my inhibition level sinks rapidly after nocturnal emissions as I am thinking it would´t hurt so much to O a second time that day.

    After so many days of my semen retention I had only one wet dream. But I can't recall if I was thinking through that day about sex. Books that had written about celibacy they claim that someone must avoid thinking sex through day if they want not having nocturnal emissions.

    I am absolutely sure that the body has the wisdom to handle the amount of semen and expels it of the body through urine (see the extra bubbles) when it is necessary.

    Ayuverda claims, which I found it absolutely correct, that semen is the finest product of marrow, which comes from bone, which comes from fat, which comes from flesh, which comes from blood, which comes from chyle, which comes from food. As you notice, it's a long and exhausted procedure.

    Scientists proved that they can create semen from marrow, so Ayuverda seems to be accurate.

    All of this precious elements, products of this procedure, and finally the semen, can gone in a minute. That's why many philosophies insist that the waste of the semen leads to death (the Satan). So, my answer to your question is that yes, ejaculation leads to degrade vitality, energy and health.

    Imagine please for a moment if you could waste blood in every ejaculation instead of semen. How many blood could you waste and still be healthy?

    @Thechosenone , although it is very uncommon, from what I understand there are techniques that make it possible to retain semen indefinitely. I'm relatively new to this so I can't vouch for them, but in the two 1 month stretches I've done, there have been no nocturnal emissions. I was using a combination of conscious transmutation of the energy as well as the old Taoist male deer exercise. When I ejaculated after a month, I didn't feel like I needed to and It wasn't that much materiel. I could however actually feel the semen being recycled by my body. Cant say for certain, but it seemed like that's what was happening.

    @docker , what you are saying makes good sense to me.

    @Fangthanefool , one reason I think that it is not is this funny taste I was getting in my mouth after going about two weeks. I think the Taoist Deer exercise somehow squeezes the semen into the bloodstream or into the lymphatic system. I don't really know what it does but it relieves the prostate pressure and the semen doesn't seem to go into the bladder. Where does it go? I don't know! I also lost enough fat to start looking ripped. I'm only 145 lbs now at 5'8 but when I take my shirt off people are impressed. Two months ago it was nothing special. That could be coincidental, but it's some kind of evidence.

    I did 52 days without nocturnal emissions. I workout usually daily so ive used the energy to get fitter. I set a new pr of 31 pull ups before I fapped. Im on like day 3 of new period I did only 22. I didnt feel as hydrated and I may not have been as fueled up today. But I felt like I wanted to cry today. I was feeling super happy before I capped. I need to learn to control the strong urges. Is the number one best response to being super horny a cold shower? I was so damn horny and I was still working out hard when I become super horny so I didnt know what to do. Id also like to learn to have sex while retaining seamen fd thats possible.

    When it is normal non-porn masturbation that is short and to the point, it can be like letting off pressure from a release valve. Indulgence however always leads to fatigue and more noticeable soreness and colds after I relapse.

    There is something about the build up leading to the ejaculation and the amount of semen that is released that effects how much it will impact your biology.

    I remember giving blood and it does feel a lot like that afterwards.

    @TheGreatZulu I sensed that your lower chakras seemed blocked. It would be a good explanation of such symptoms, extremely horny, want to cry, etc.

    @Fangthanefool Placebo? Fatigue and depression after masturbation are not placebo effects. They have to do with the chemistry of the body, if you want to speak scientifically. With ejaculation you expel precious chemicals that body needs them to keep in balance. By holding your semen you always feel "full" of energy which motivates you to do things, have progress in your life, find your balance, master you body, master your brain. Brain is an organ as everything else in our bodies. You have to realise that brain creates thoughts and most of them they don't belong to you, belongs to that organ. The point is to learn to control your brain instead of opposite. Desire is a thought of the your body, of your brain. That's why if you are thinking sex all the time you will have wet dreams inevitable.

    Transmute that energy into anything else than semen! Do that only for reproductive purposes!

    @Congrelous you know, the first thing I said to my self when I noticed the benefits of my first nofap attempt was "Why oh why, I didn't do that earlier in my life and wasted so many years?"

    Like you, I masturbated for so many years in my life! I had so many sex and I drained my system so much. I remember I was heavily depressed around 2010-11 because of the end of a relationship and I believed then that masturbation was the only thing that makes me feel good. Hahaha! So wrong!!!!!! so naive!!!!!

    I am really interested in this.

    I have ejaculated at least once every 3 days for the past 15 years, but usually every day and often multiple times a day. I have masturbated until virtually nothing can come out and at that point your prostate gland begins to throb painfully.

    I have the perfect circumstance for semen retention. My partner has a low sex drive and doesn't feel the need for intimacy more than once a month. As much as I am dissatisfied with that (even resent it.....even feel doomed by it), it is the perfect opportunity to discover the benefits of semen retention and focus on other things in life. I have focused to ejaculation long enough.

    I'm really liking this thread. Someone asked about sex with semen retention. I've done it lots of times (I'm married BTW). The sex needs to be very gentle and if the girl gets off it's going to be from clitoral stimulation. The really cool thing is that even though I stop and never ejaculate, I get this huge relief and relaxation for at least 12-24 hours afterwards. I don't do that stuff where you get really close to the orgasm and the back off and repeat. I have tried that and it just seems to wreak havok on the body. It also seems to load up the semen in channels that you don't want it to be going because it's uncomfortable afterwards.

    Hanging out in my wife gives me tons of relief, it defies logic. It's like her body is balancing out my energy for me automatically. I wish she was interested in doing this more often.

    This seems to be how I avoid getting horny. You have to get the energy to move up the spine. I get a sensation in the top of my head while I'm doing it. I can watch porn now and it doesn't make me horny but my sex organs are exploding with energy. The energy just moves up to my head and I feel high. It's pretty cool.

    If you can't open your chakras the energy will stuck in the spine and make you feel pain in the height of the existed blocked chakra, until you will open it.

    I don't think that it is appropriate for the brain for watching porn. The exploding energy in the genital tells that the sexual desire is awaken and the brain sends the signal for the Semen to be liquify.

    I was just now feeling a little tense and out of balance and went into some really deep stretching. Stretching might be one of the absolute best ways to balance the body. Quite seriously underestimated the value of stretching is.
