    Hi everyone,

I heard about NoFap about a month ago. I suffer from anxiety/Depression and a speech impediment (stutter) ever since I started fapping some 12 years ago. I am 25 now.

I was gifted, I coulda been a somebodyyy. I was athletic, top of my class and all that. Then I discovered porn which imo is the worst mistake of my life.

I have tried to quit on numerous occasions to no avail, the longest being about a month which was when me and my last ex were still together. In that time I noticed my stutter had improved dramatically, my complexion was amazing (no new pimples, no bags under the eyes) and I was just more attractive to women.

I used to be an alpha and porn has ruined all that. I'm ready to quit, i'm on day 5 now and already noticing slight improvements in my mood and speech but I still have very little motivation. I think i'm already beginning to flatline.

I am ready to turn my life around and I am positive nofap will help me become who I was meant to be.

Hi and welcome! I agree with you on the points you make; skin/face improvements and more confidence in who you are with an increased desire to make and achieve goals in life.

I wish you the best in overcoming PMO and becoming the person you were meant to be without the grasp of addiction.

    Thank you very much,

It truly is an addiction, I kept wondering 'I have everything in life, i'm intelligent, funny, handsome, athletic so why is my life a mess?' People with way more problems than me have more motivation and a higher sense of responsibility and then it hit me. It is all due to masturbation. No placebo effect. Masturbating once in a blue moon is healthy but actually looking forward to it and making it your primary source of happiness in life is not.

I never thought it was so harmful to one's body and soul, but I know now. :) Day 10 now.
