    Hi All,

Firstly I am relived and thrilled at the same time to be in this space.

I am 28 years old and have been through so much of distress in life because of this plague that resides within me. I am unmarried, but I consider myself blessed with a loving family and a bunch of amazing friends who I can lean on anytime.

I have a sharp and astute mind and I consider myself learned and generally well read. But ever since the pornography virus infected me about 7 years ago, I started to always fall short of achieving my true potential in every aspect of life. The one thing Ive always heard from my parents, boss, professors, friends is "He is capable of being so much more".

Even the few women I dated(I am damned lucky to have been with them, even with the porn plague), would always tell me that I was never "Invested" in the relationship. If only I hadn't caved in to my dopamine insufficiency by binging on porn, I would have probably found the ideal woman by now.

As my title suggests, I want to renounce this ill habit, reboot and Recharge my life with a new vigor and finally be the man I can truly be.

I intend to lend and seek support from anyone who is committed to this cause. As a commitment, I hope to make one quick post a day, sharing thought on how I am holding up. Together, lets beat this plague and take charge of our lives.

    Best,

    ER

Hey welcome to the community. If I can can say one thing, it's that staying PMO free does help you regain focus and a passion for life.

God bless on your path to freedom.

    Hi ER,
We're all capable of so much more! You're right, a PMO addiction sucks energy out of you to be able to do anything.
Since getting rid of the habit my productivity has more than doubled.
    Good luck buddy.
