Suggestion for when you have urges

    When urges arise it is because of some chemical in your brain. You can control certain brain chemicals such as adrenaline, which has the ability to completely wash the “horny chemicals” away. Do something that either shocks your system like a cold shower, cold water over your head, chewing some ice or guzzle a bunch of ice water OR do something that requires effort, but it doesn’t have to be a long workout. Just run hard and fast like you need to save someone’s life for 50 or 100 meters. Run to the corner or to the stop sign or mailbox. Also you can do some crunches or sit ups or push ups. Push ups might be more difficult if you’re like me and have a really big boner obviously. But it works miracles to use adrenaline to wash the sex desire chemicals out. The one problem with this is it is DESIRE we are dealing with, or WANTING. We usually don’t WANT to make our WANTS go away. Do it anyway. You’ll like it and it is invigorating. The sex desire will leave but don’t be sad. It will come back. It is much easier in the long run than “fighting” the urges. You cannot win that fight. Those desires are deep down inside and are innate to humans. But you can “distract” your system with something else.

    Sometimes I edge. Not with porn. I just forget and my hand finds its way down there. For me relapse is cumming. I’m working on that. I know edging is “bad”. Don’t need a lecture on it. Thanks for reading. 2 days today.
     
  2. When urges arise, hit burpees, cold shower, jog/walk outdoors etc.

    What if your urges come in the middle of the night? Cause if you take a cold shower that'll wake you up more and now you have to lose sleep so you'll be so drousy in the morning and urges come again. A
     
  4. A set of AMRAP Burpees are a good urge killer and a sleep inducer.

    You’ll start sleeping really well without urges soon. But you’ll have a few sleepless nights in the beginning.

    You're comment made no sense. Who tf jogs at 2 am or very early times? Unless you work the graveyard shift. If you keep getting sleepless nights then you'll get more stressed and easily irritated during the day that you end up relapsing due to so much stress and PMO being an easy way to get some relief.
