13 Months Harmode In PAWS

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Freeddom_Taker, Sep 1, 2019.

  1. I had to make this post for noffappers who are suffering with "post acute withdrawals."
I've been on nofap for at least 4 years now. And my pmo addiction lasted 7 years from regular stuff to escalation. I finally complete 13 months hardmode after several attempts which contain a lot of 14 days streaks, a couple 30 & 60 days and 1 time 70 days.
I've been through a lot pains and discomfort since I have decided to stop bathing my brain in dopamine from excessive pmo. I suffered 90% of the PAWS symptoms mentioned in which a lot of them fluctuate and some r back. Right now I'm dealing with Shaking, Head Tingling Sensation and Pressure (sometimes), Constipation, Back Pain, Stiffness in body, Anhedonia, Agoraphobia. Feel like the brain is still under some major changes.

I've read somewhere and from other rebooters that PAWS could extend 2 to 3 years depending the length and use of your addiction.

Other rebooters who are still or done with PAWS or just start w/ the reboot can describe their experiences as well.

Been trying to nofap since Last year Dec with streaks of about 30 days each. I'm beginning to note some benefits:

    1. General feeling of wellness and peace.

    2. Increased energy.

    3. Reduced brain fog.

    4. Stronger will.

    5. Better relations with wife and kids.

    6. Better sleep.

    7. Reduced fatigue.

Hey man, your journey Is the stuff of warriors, honestly the compassion people should give themselves who go through paws on this journey should be tremendous. The psychological turmoil is indescribable.
I'm just wondering over your 13 months if you had any period of relief and freedom or if the paws and the symptoms have been constant throughout?

  5. A warrior indeed brother!
Just recently close to month 13 where I had 1 or 2 days with no symptoms and some days with withdrawals on and off. Besides that, it's all crappy especially from 14 days to month 8 where i had to stay at home most of the time. Then from 9 to month 12, moods keep changing hours to hours or minutes to minutes.
