While I was typing a message to my AP today, I recited some information I've gained on the brain in relation to PMO (haven't we all?), but more useful: in relation to the effect of oxytocin. (Oh.)

If you watch porn, your eyes see two (or more) people having sex or doing some other 'sexual' activity (I really can't see how shitting in someone elses mouth can wind you up, but whatever). When your eyes observe this, they send a message to your brain. The Limbic Brain to be precise.
As you might know, this part of the brain is where our instincts and emotions lie.
Now, there's a slight difference between what your eyes see, and the message the limbinc brain receives. - It's like that short answered text a girl might have sent you: Maybe she's just busy, but not angry or uninterested in you, while you may think that she is. A miscommunication so to say. - Your limbic brain can't see the difference between real sex and the artificial stimulation it has been receiving the whole time.

Basically what I'm saying is that your brain is thinking that you're having sex all this time with an unusual amount of women (or men, whatever you're in to. Or dogs, if that's your thing.. Anywaaaaayyyy..)
So maybe you aren't so experienced in sex as you want to be, but for your brain you're a real pussymagnet. I'm not sure if that would be a good argument to boost your confidence or not.

The difference between just P and PMO is that when you orgasm, a hormone comes in that isnt released when you just watch P. That is the hormone oxytocin. This hormone creates intimacy, trust, and builds healthy relationships. It is released when women are pregnant or have given birth, or if someone orgasm, either men or women. So this relationship we've been having with our right hand and napkin weren't as nature meant it to be. Shocking, isn't it?
I do not know if oxytocin might causes the feeling of melancholy after an orgasm, maybe someone else can fill in on this.
This hormone causes us to bond with our mate, implying that sex isn't just purely for procreation. We're supposed to bond with our mates. Now, in all honesty: I think I have pretty hands, but I don't think I can fall in love with them.

Feel free to add up more information!

I plan to share more of such thoughts if you guys like it, hopefully I can help others by sharing my thoughts/sharing science.

I was just thinking, like, from reading through this real quick.

Why do we have to have this issue! like why!

i am so tired of being horny all the time! its like mens curse... women can make fun of us about it, like we do it on purpose but they dont understand! its not fun being horny all the time!

why cant we have like a structured mating season like other animals or something! haha, you know what i mean?

Oxytocin makes you bond yes. I think it might be the answer to why you feel so damn empty and lonely after Pmo, simply because you lack someone real to bond with, hense the emptiness
