I don't seem to come on this at all when I am in a PMO binge for some reason.

But anyway the usual crap happened with me. I ended up out on Monday night with friends drinking. Drank an extreme amount of alcohol. I didn't get one wink of sleep on Monday night, I was hungover the following day, and all this made me want to do is PMO.

I have a really good blocking system on my laptop, and I keep the 30 digit symbol password in another location a mile away from where I live. I couldn't get access to this password on Tuesday. So what I did is I lied to my grandfather saying my laptop was broken and could I use his. He said yes and basically let me use it for 2 days. So on Tuesday I literally spent the entire day PMOing, and today Wednesday I PMOed 3 times, but some sessions were hours long. I was pretty much flicking about pornographic content and images of attractive women most of the day though.

Something I honestly don't understand is how some guys can refuse all that stuff without blockers. Guys who can refuse it for long periods of time or completely without blockers I take my hat off to you. Tonight I wasn't even horny, but then I searched more porn, more images of women ext while fapping at the same time, and then eventually this lead me to being horny beyond belief, leading me in to long PMO sessions.

But yeah I am just sick I can't seem to stop going back to it at some point.

  2. Like all addicts we will find a way of feeding our habit. Your subterfuge with your grandfather displays a level of cunning on your part. This too is a trait of addicts.
I relapsed last Thursday and have been unable to stop since! After a relapse I lose all control for around a week. Then through exhaustion and shame I stop. Or sometimes I don't stop for six months.
I understand thoroughly what you are going through. The change needs to come from within. Cutting of access to a porn works for while. But we need to win the battle in our minds first. Long before we find ourselves in front of a screen something has gone awry. Each of us needs to find out what this is and overcome it. Take care and stop s soon as possible. Only then can real healing take place.

  3. Sorry for the spelling mistakes above. I'm a fairly old guy and I find predictive text very hard to use. This is especially so when I use a tablet.

    Thanks man.

Well I think if I didn't use blockers I wouldn't be able to stop. Or I think I would at the very least struggle to not peak at stuff for more than a few days, which would lead me to PMOing.

Put it behind you bro! You can do this... Ye it get easier after 2 or 3 weeks. I live alone and have many computers, phones ipads TV, super fast internet etc. But the gains Im getting at the gym and overall in my life are worth too much for PMO'ing to pixels bro.

  7. Vices come in groups brother. When I was drinking I was completely incapable of any kind of real willpower against porn.
Like was mentioned above, the battle starts before we even begin to search for PMO.
Good on you for the blockers now what are you going to do differently this time. Stop shaming yourself it’s over, you can only move forward.
    Why do you wanna stop?
    What lead to your relapses?
How will you change this time around?
What habits are you creating to replace your bad one?
Who can you talk to when times are tough?

    You got this

It's always difficult in the start but as time passes it will be easier for you to resist it by your own.

I used to use a blocker, but just like some of you guys were saying, we still find ways around it. Either it was a less graphic form of pornography, or it was done on another device. I ended up getting good for a while, and had the blocker taken off. It is hard to decide whether I want it back because like you guys say, you have to overcome this on your own and you will find ways around the blocker if you are sly enough. What do you guys think? Should I get a blocker with an accountability partner?
