  1. So, I am 15 years old, and I've never kissed anyone. All my tries have failed. Am I late? I say to myself: "Relax and live! The live is more than this, and the time shall come!", but some moments later, I get sad because of this.
The worst part is to have to lie about this, in order to not be target of jokes.

This post reminds me of a bit of a funny story.

I grew up with anime imbued in my veins. Specifically, I watched Naruto all the time. If you don't know what Naruto is, it's basically a show about magic teenage ninjas, with the main character being Naruto, a magic teenage ninja. There's one scene where he's talking with another character, and the other character mentions that Naruto hasn't kissed anyone in all his 16 years of life, except for his male best friend on accident when they were children.

I saw this when I was like 12, and I laughed when I saw this scene but was also taken aback. 16 without anyone kissing him?? Isn't that kind of unrealistic??

And guess what? I'm now almost 20 and the only lady that's ever kissed me is my mother.

If you ever feel bad about not having kissed a girl at 15, just think that somewhere in Canada, there's a certain celery_tree who is currently unkissed despite being 5 years older than you. (lol!)

It’d only be too late if you were on your deathbed, regretting not try and live your life to the fullest!

I love this kind of sarcastic humor xD How can I develop such a thing????

Become so bitter and unhappy your only way of not going insane is being sarcastic about everything.

You will always be not early / good / rich / popular / attractive / smart / strong / funny / creative enough when comparing yourself to others.

Your circumstances, upbringing, environment, strengths, and relationships are different from others. So it's very irrational to compare your timeline with everyone else's timeline.

If you get into the habit of doing things for the sake of not being ridiculed or rejected by others, you're going to have a very mediocre, unfulfilling, and compromising life.

Relax, you are just fine dude!
I didn't have my first kiss until age 21 which might have been later than average but so what?
It's definitely nothing that I go around pondering on. Just live your life as you want to live it (not according to others' expectations) and all other things will come along and align automatically. Remember that it is the conformists of today who will be the big losers of tomorrow as they simply never developed the integrity or strength to say no to things and people that were harmful to them. All for the sake of just fitting in and do whatever everyone else was doing.

  8. Thank you guys, this really helped me!
You're definitely right about living how you want to live and not how people tell you to live. I think I'm gonna put this in practice!
Thank you again, I was needing some advice ;)

Although it might be tough at the moment to stand against peer-pressure, your parents' will, social conditioning and its screwed up standards (of how you should live and be happy) etc, that is what will bring you long-term freedom, purpose, fulfillment and peace in life.
I am talking from own experience here as I was bullied and looked down upon during my entire childhood for going against the current.
Constantly being seen as the outsider/weird one was very tough back then (literally the worst period in my life) but these days, I am very happy I stood my ground since that was a building block in my strong character. A character that's not dependent on fake friends, their shallow values, materialism, peoples' validation, approval and various forms of escapism. My close friends and the people I surround and socialize with today are people I can rely on in any given situation and talk with about anything, no matter how hard or controversial the topic.

Also, take good care of your health in the process! That will be one of your biggest and best future investments for sure.
I was taking it very easy with the booze and junk-food in my teens (almost a tee-totaler until age 20) and during most of my 20's, alcohol and binge-drinking was something reserved to a few occasions per year. Be careful with alcohol since it's a poison that can do a lot of damage and make you age very fast if not consumed in very moderate amounts.
Today, I rarely drink any alcohol and therefore look young, fresh, healthy and no older than 24-26, despite being 31 years of age. I have also been exercising almost daily ever since and that might contribute as well.
Many of the people I went to school with on the other hand, are fat, pale and look like they are over 40 years of age because of their destructive drinking habits during their younger years.

At 16 I was dumped by the school's hottest girl, which I liked, because she did "not want a platonic relationship" - I said "oh, ok" and then walked away; I just didn't know what "platonic" means and did not know what to answer!

My first kiss occurred at 18 and there were no fireworks afterwards; it was more like "oh ok, this feels strange; maybe tomorrow will feel nicer".

  14. society makes you think that having your first kiss or losing your virginity or whatever else has to be done by a certain age, and if its not youre an outcast or a loser or w/e. it's not like there's an invisible timer counting down when you should have your next experience by. but seriously who gives a fuck man lmfao. i think you should be more concerned about working on yourself and kicking this habit rather than who your next kiss is gonna be. there are people who had their first kiss at 5, there are people who had their first kiss at 50, there is no time limit on this que sera sera dude lol

When I was 12-13, I used to lie about having had a girlfriend once, even though I had never had a girlfriend. Made up a name for her and everything.

You'd be surprised about how many in your age have not been kissed, had a girlfriend etc. And you'd be surprised about how many are lying about it.

I was 18 (almost 19) when I had my first kiss btw.

I do want to say though that I really regret wasting so much time on TV, gaming, meaningless web surfing, porn, masturbation etc when I was younger. I wasn't only wasting time but also energy and opportunities and I was damaging my mental health.

Do strive to live life to the fullest and work towards having memories to cherish in the future.

Please stop trying for at least three years. You are too young.
