Almost relapsed

    Had a hard time sleeping last night because I had to wake up early. Usually I jerk off to help me sleep at night but since I'm on nofap I didn't want to relapse. I'm on day 5 any tips on how to sleep better?

    Dude. Great question. I'm thinking about that myself since I used to be in the same habit. Let me fire off some ideas and feel free to dismiss those you don't like:

    *Sleep with your curtains open. If I do this, then I feel less temptation to go online and jerk off. If you live with other people, then maybe you can leave a door open.
    *Practice where to direct your idle thoughts before you go to bed. I like to think of favorite books, movies, and video games. You might be able to think of favorite places that you've been. Heck, you could even think about a puzzle.
    *Avoid screen time. This is not so much about what you look at (though we can all agree that is important). It's about blue light messing with your sleep rhythms.

    Anyhow, just some thoughts. Let me know if you have any ideas yourself.

    Do you watch porn when you fap or just M? Also, I would consider reading ten pages in a book of your choice every night before you go to sleep. Not only does this better you and help you pursue other avenues aside from porn, but it also helps distract your mind and hopefully help you sleep a little better while developing your interests. If you watch porn, I would consider sleeping with your phone or computer outside of your room so that way, there is no easy access.
