A second withdrawal ?

Guys,

I'm in a roller-coaster...

Day 33... I'm confident to assume physical withdrawal has passed...

But man, I've been hit by a truck of emotions those past days !!!!!!

I guess it is the start of another withdrawal, emotional this time.... I used to numb my emotions with PMO... well... not this time.

And it is hell.

This makes me think of a comic I've read a long time ago.

The main character killed his best-friend of 20 years because he knew his dirty secret and was a former AA. The man rationalized and killed him in cold blood !!! "Never trust an addict"...

I understand now what he meant.

An addict, even a former addict of 10 years (like in the comic), is prone to do stupid things to numb his pain... Such as revealing a dirty secret to get his dope...

Or, in our case, beg for porn...!!!! How lame...

Well, I'm frustated and angry because I'm frustated and angry of the no PMO habit... I'm in the middle of a downward spiral...

I gave my word to my wife to give up this addiction.

And I live by a strict moral code. Respect and discipline are the foundations.

"I'd rather struggle and die on my feet than die lazy on my knees"

I'll get through it !
