Hey peoples I smoke/eat weed and I want to know what the community thinks this does in terms of the effect on a reboot.
    THANKS I LOVE YOU!

  2. I would not recommend it at all, weed screws with dopamine receptors and can further mess them up, pmo addicts already have screwed up receptors so weed would make them worse and make rebooting possibly impossible.

I’ve been blazing while on nofap and from my experience it is a double edged sword. On one hand, it clears my mind and help me really FEEL the urgent need to do nofap, to get clean ASAP.
On the other hand, it could lower inhibition and make me not care. I’ve been wanking high before, the rush was unreal!!!
Solution: blazing with friends! You don’t want to yank one out in front of your friends now do you???

  4. sadly the friend method does not work, if you get horny enough you will simply get up and find a place to do it, a pmo addict will do all kinds of disgraceful things to feel good.

You must be joking! You know that weed is bad for you. You justifying it doesn't make it right!

I'd say if it's organic you can do it once every so often (like once a week max), cos it does mess with brain chemistry and can have negative effects on people, not to mention whenever anyone's addicted to it they never realise it, and weed from untrustworthy sources can be very detrimental to mental health.

Long story short as long as it's not messed with artificial pesticides and lighting etc. you're good to it once every 2 weeks or so imo.

  12. I think weed can help with NoFap, as long as you don't give into the temptations that come with it.

Weed doesn't mess with dopamin receptors, but with GABA. GABA inhibits Dopamin and THC inhibits GABA. Less GABA=More Dopamin. But THC doesn't directly increase dopamin. Also, THC is not a neurotoxin, speaking it does not "kill" cells. It just changes the way they work for the moment one is high, there are no actual physical changes in cells, as long as one doesn't abuse weed (the dose makes the poison). Interestingly enough, after quitting weed, the GABA receptors work just as well as the ones of a "normal" person, so no long term effects/damage (on cell level).

What weed can do is that it changes behaviour, leading to increased masturbation, eating more junkfood. But weed itself is actually pretty healthy for the body when consumed orally. But being high makes one more prone to give into temptations, because there's no GABA to inhibit dopamin, which means PMO'ing while high feels better than sober, because when sober there's enough GABA to inhibit Dopamin.

I think it's pretty hard to live in this world without blazing up once in a while, it really takes a stoic, but you gotta find a place for it.
I have a rule of not smoking before my day's done (if I have really worked a lot, I might do a very modest amount of puffs in the late evening, when I'm about to finish), and would avoid smoking much just before bed, in order to go to sleep with a clearer head. As rule of thumb, one or two Js after dinner can't do much harm.
Weed has the nice feature of letting you know when she's inappropriate or redundant, if you listen to yourself after having smoked. You'll notice it. Smoking too much or too often does not directly harm you, but you can tell it just does not feel quite right. You notice yourself it does not have a purpose when it actually doesn't.
But it mainly depends on how you react to it. Some people can smoke more than others and benefit from it, others cannot take a puff. I suppose it's about how much endocannabinoids your brain already prduces. But anyway I've never found it to interact negatively with nofap.

Except weed does NOT have addictive properties per se. This said, of course one can get addicted to it JUST LIKE you can get addicted to coffee or even food, or even working out for that matter, but it does not bring any symptom of addiction to the table (cravings, desensitization, withdrawals... THC itself has never done that to anybody anywhere). It can create short-term problems if misused that completely fade away as soon as you stop using, but you really gotta try fucking hard to get to that point. Like, smoking 1 gram joints all day long.
