Hi, I'm 17 years old and I have seborrheic dermatitis.
I noticed that redness of my face is increased after I relapsed.

Does anyone cured Seborrheic dermatitis with NoFap?

Im not sure exactly what that is but i have nasty flaky 'dandruff' for years and i was told that it may be Subborheic Dermatitis. I use dandruff shampoo. Not sure about the face though. Maybe a skin cleanser to release oil buildup if thats whats causing it. There are medicated products a doctor can prescribe.

    Masturbation doesn’t cause dandruff

True. But i couldnt get rid of mine no matterbwhat i tried. Maybe not masturbating is a cure for it?

I've had dermatitis really bad all over my face for years, so I can relate. And I have confirmed over and over again that masturbation negatively affects my dermatitis. A day or so after every relapse, I get a dermatitis flareup. The dermatitis gets really bad during periods when I binge on PMO. On some of my longest streaks, my face has been the clearest it's ever been while having the condition.

So don't listen to those that say there's no link, they don't know what they're talking about. They probably haven't suffered from the condition and realized that there's a connection between the two.

That's not to say I think NoFap is a cure for dermatitis, or that it's the primary cause for your particular condition. There are other important things like diet, stress, exercise, and your environment that factor into the healing process as well. But stopping PMO will certainly improve the condition. If you notice like you said that it gets worse soon after a relapse (like me), it's probably the major determining factor.

So PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop PMO.

I've been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff, redness, scaring and scalp itchiness) of my scalp for the last 20 years. Celibacy doesn't help with seborrheic dermatitis unfortunately. I've done 2 x +6 months monk mode streaks in last 2 years and have seen no improvements.

I've visited dermatologist but no one can cure the damn thing. I've also become almost completely bald after this illness appeared. The only thing that really helped me was applying liquid corticosteroids to the scalp, but there's a catch. Corticosteroids have serious side effects (thinning skin), so you can't use them all the time (it could also have much worse systematic side effects, no one really knows… but applying steroids non stop on your scalp has really high potential risks not worth taking). The other thing that helped me somewhat was Vichy Dercos Aminexil Energisant. It's shampoo to prevent hair loss but for me it helps with seborrheic dermatitis to some extend at least with itchiness part. I'm currently testing Ducray kelual DS shampoo but it doesn't seem to work for me.

    Causes
-> Doctors don't yet know the exact cause of seborrheic dermatitis. It may be related to:
    1. A yeast (fungus) called malassezia that is in the oil secretion on the skin
    2. An irregular response of the immune system

I fully agree, i used to get really bad flareups, especially when i binged. However, they are not limited to masturbation/ejaculation only. I'd get flare ups even if i kept myself sexually aroused mentally (though sex fantasies).
