Look man, the counter isn't a currency, no one here really cares what day you're on. The counter is for you to keep track of your progress. But making progress in quitting an addiction is complex, there are many layers to it, and the counter is just a number. So you go ahead and decide for yourself whether your incident is reason enough for you to reset.

 

I think by the nofap rules it’s a reset. That’s just to keep your accountability. If you feel like you are on day 20; stick with day 20. There’s no need to reset.

 

Because of precum? But I thought that precum has no sperm?

 

I think the rules being strict with the counter is to discourage people to feel like they are building a streak, but still end up looking at porn or some variation of breaking what the idea of NoFap is.

 

Pre cum does have sperm. Not sure this matters for NoFap or a counter issue but just for the sex Ed aspect.

 

I think I've read 1 out of 4 men have sperm in their precum. It's mostly prostate fluid.

Precum is not something to reset your counter over. It’s not voluntary; your body can make it.

Color of semen can’t tell you if there is sperm in it. If it’s more white/yellow/clear has to do with diet/vitamins

 

I see. Do you think that precum as a result of texting via internet without being too sexual is a relapse? Or do you still stand by what you said?

 

I think you can be excited in a non sexual way and produce Precum. Yes I still stand by my original statement.
