    Hey guys and girls!

I'm ecstatic to see this community of positivity and dedication! I had never really thought that porn could be part of why I was having issues with getting it up with a real woman. Though, through reading all the data, and all of y'all's amazing and humbling testimonials, it all started making sense.

I had a weird relationship with sex from an early age. When I discovered hardcore porn mags on top of a cabinet at home, I was confused and totally unaware of what was going on in those pages. Scared even. I had not received "the talk" yet, and didn't know what the hell this was. But, I was intrigued, and when we got high speed internet at home, I began looking stuff up in secret more and more. Though it wasn't every day, it was often enough to cause a very unrealistic view of what sex was. This continued pretty much until present day.

About 5 years ago, I had an incident with a girl I was seeing, and she really railed it against me. It was the first time we had tried anything together, as we had become close friends before that, and that's simply what we were. Although, I was very attracted to her, and spending so much time together got us closer and closer. But, when we eventually got into an intimate moment, when I couldn't get it up, she mocked and humiliated me. I was devastated and from that point on I kept having issues with women in the bedroom. I dove into my porn habit more and more, actually believing that it could help cure me. Boy oh boy was I wrong...

So, I've been working on getting into this and haven't had a whole lot of success on my own... I went straight to hard mode and was fine for a few days. Slipped up and had to try again.

    Twice this happened.

However, I'm looking forward to future success with you all and a return to a more confident state of mind. I'm also working out my anxieties and trying to build a foundation relative to sex that was never really there before.

    Peace!

This will help you a lot, watch this and say goodbye to urges forever

    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/if-youre-struggling.232140/

But however urges sometimes can attack even if you are focused on something else, when i got rid of those 1% foods which increases urges and started enjoying 99% other beautiful foods it became so much easyer for me ^_^

Welcome @PointZeroOne - I can appreciate what it feels like to be burned, and it is great to see that you have taken it upon yourself to get help and support in this community. Pro tip: stay active and engaged in this community and others. At times in the process you may feel like you don't need the continued support/you may want to get off being online as well. But be sure to check in every once and a while to help and be helped when you need!

Thanks, Calvin! I'm seeing now why so many have similarly suggested this. Even after just being on this morning seems to have curbed my urge!
