Karezza and condoms

Discussion in 'Abstinence, Retention, and Sexual Transmutation' started by +TenPercent, May 14, 2019.

  1. I'm single and just noticed that my box of condoms has expired. I've always kept these on hand, just in case, but as I am aiming to give up orgasms entirely (except for procreation), it has me wondering if I even need condoms anymore.

For those who are practicing, or intending to practice, karezza - I'm curious, where do condoms fit into this?

    My thoughts are:
They obviously serve the purpose of preventing unwanted pregnancies and disease transmission.
And, desensitisation could help prevent an inadvertent discharge for both parties . . .

But, on the flip side, how much is lost of the benefits of karezza by putting that barrier in place?

Karezza purists would say it's about skin to skin contact so the guy would not use a condom and would ideally be circumcised. But I can see that the reduced sensitivity that condoms produce can be helpful plus it depends if the girl's on the Pill.

EDIT: Uh I'm too new to forums, my reply wasn't meant for the quote.

Yes, I've found that circumcised guys are a lot less sensitive down there so they take longer to cum and can stop themselves more easily.

How can they claim to promote skin to skin contact, if they reckon it is ideal if the guy had a lot of skin removed from his penis?

  6. Circumcised at birth, I really don't know what it's like to be uncircumcised, but I have repeatedly heard that uncircumcised men are much more sensitive.
Also, I could easily have sex for 40 minutes or longer without orgasm (sometimes we would get tired and just stop, no orgasm on my part necessary) but . . . I am more inclined to label that as DE and attribute it more to excessive masturbation

Please pardon my ignorance, but if a man is uncircumcised, isn't the glans rubbing against the inside of the foreskin? To me that sounds like he's having more skin to skin contact with himself and less skin to skin contact (at least as far as the glans is concerned) with his partner.

An interesting question and an understandable assumption.

When a natural penis enters the vagina, the foreskin is pushed back to just behind the corona i.e. the bottom edge of the glans penis. Albeit that most with a penis that has not been surgically altered, find their foreskin will retract to just behind the corona when the penis is fully erect. Either way, the glans penis is in direct contact with the walls of the vagina.

TenPercent: I am not "fully" into karezza (with my wife) because I am not comfortable with the eastern spirituality that seems to accompany it, but we have employed the basic techniques and goals, with great results. Going very slow and easy, and progressing slowly into it, has resulted in some of the best sexual experiences we have had in many years, even without any O on my part. However, I find a condom is necessary. Extended vaginal sex seems to greatly increase the chance of a UTI for me. Somehow women can tolerate many bacteria in or near their vagina without a UTI, but during extended lovemaking those bacteria seem to be able to climb up into a guy's urethra and OUCH! Personally, I don't mind the condom (a non latex one made from polyisoprene, of the right size for me) especially when used with ample lubrication (one of the silicone oils). I even kind of enjoy it. It doesn't seem to reduce my wife's sensitivity and may even reduce her soreness due to abrasion. BTW, like you, I was circumcised at birth.

The contact is with the bellend part, I think its proper name is the glans.

I think you're right. In my country (UK) most guys still have the skin but I had an American boyfriend, a Jewish one and a couple more who had it cut off for medical reasons and yes it makes them a lot less sensitive and longer lasting. Looks smells and tastes better too. My ideal guy would definitely have had the op or would agree to get it done.

And would you have lumps of your labia cut off because a guy said you would look better, smell better and taste better? o_O

If I really cared about him I might. Plus in some cultures they literally cut off the clit.

  15. Never had to use it during karezza. Note that it is slow and what the majority of himans would find boring. As both of your aim is to find pleasure in the connection and not through Orgasm, both of you need to understand each other. I had kareeza like twice, some refer to it here as edging with a partner. Slow movement lad. None of that quick shit you find in porn.
    And breathe naturally.

  16. What? I was never circumcised. But whem I'm erect, my 'foreskin' always retract. Even before penetration. Is that normal or does the foreskin suppose to cover the gland, even when erect?

This is not for kids

Yeah, completely normal bro and you are in the majority as far as I am aware. As I said on Tuesday ^ "Most with a penis that has not been surgically altered, find their foreskin will retract to just behind the corona when the penis is fully erect." But I have a long foreskin and my glans penis is completely covered when I am erect. Nevertheless, it moves easily. ;) :)

This is completely erroneous! o_O The foreskin does not cover the glans penis during intercourse.

I cannot imagine how any man that loved you would even suggest you butcher your vulva because he said he didn't like the look of yours or said it could smell or taste better! The fact that you might do so makes you 'unusual' at the very least. As for cultures that surgically remove the clitoris, I find that disgusting and frankly upsetting! I am appalled you would even reference that barbaric and abusive practice. It has no place in a relationship between two loving people. I am stunned!
