Hey to who ever is reading this, this was my first ever nofap attempt, pretty happy with lasting 34 days,Relapsed just the one time. So if I could go back in time what would I tell myself on day 1, the thing I would probably say is this is going to be hard but so worth it, the thing you don’t realise until you stop for a period of time is just how much porn and masturbation takes it out of you, it’s so draining and destructive. I have a healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly eat really well and take my vitamins everyday but there was something missing and it was nofap, my body and mind were so drained from sexual exhaustion. This is something I will continue to do and try get better and better at with time. I will never waste my seaman like I use to it is to powerful to waste.. to everyone good luck and just keep trying your best, hopefully you’ll get to a point were you realise this is just a new way of life..

34 days for first attempt is just a huge victory. Read through this website and you'll understand why. Most of us can't last a week, but you did which is amazing. The path to freedom is not linear though. Try to find some ways to fill your free time with constructive activities and it'll be easier to cope with urges. Good luck.

My first attempt was similar to yours. What I learned is that I cannot give myself permission to fapp just because I made it over a month. Or because I got aroused. If I’m serous about this no fapp is a new way of life for me a commitment I make every day.
Working out, reading and hanging out with friends has helped a ton. Also my AP. Best of luck!

I'm on my first attempt since starting and account and having great success. Admittedly I've tried for years on and off to stop without the help of this community and I never felt as connected to the purpose of what I was doing. I've had great success for 60+ days but then lapsed without any writing about it and I am very glad to have signed up this time. It's really made all the difference to me just to write everyday and get on here. Thank-you for posting this! Even though you lapsed it's going to be alright just don't give up your mission and the recovery time will come on quicker I do believe.
