@Desperate_Warrior hope you're in control of those urges :)

  5. we go again my friend, no stopping.

  6. Relapse to P-subs. Not sure if it counts. @Eleanor sorry,I am a bad teammate

@Desperate_Warrior check in, and second relapse

So sorry. I will do better. Promise.

  7. Your Honesty and Courage are commendable! You can do it!

Keep working on something important to you to keep you occupied all the time.

Workout intensely to burn all that excess energy.

Avoid being alone as much as possible. Socialize as much as you can.

Make sure you don't repeat the same Trigger Twice!

Always remember why you are doing this. The Purpose! Visualize how amazing your life would be when you overcome this and become healthy.

Check-in. Not sure how often I should check-in but well at least once a week (any opinions?). I think that more often than once a week could be helpful.

Came here also now because I have some struggles now and I believe that peer support is helpful so thanks for everyone who is part of this challenge. :)

Yo @Desperate_Warrior got a teammate yet? Looks like someone's already lost a partner.

Think I'll be checking in twice a week for safety's sake. The more check-ins the better, but too many and I fear we might make DesperateWarrior's job really hard.

Yeah, it's hard to truly appreciate, especially when urges are at their worst, but we really are the lucky few to be here. All the toil, relapses, binges, failures, urges and surges--all are nothing when you really think of the alternative: that soulless and empty life which drove so many of us here. I honestly can't even imagine where I would be now if it wasn't for this battle. Coz at first it's just porn we think we're fighting, but by the end you face the real roots of your addiction. The ones that you fight and suddenly see the waves of growth and recovery extending into your whole life. You feel reborn, mentally and physically. From inner peace and mental wellbeing, to discipline, productivity and confidence. "Nofap superpowers" as they are called. They dont come because of the 90 on your badge, but because you are conquering your inner demons, demons that usually have a hold on more than just PMO in your life. And that phase, when it stops being about mere numbers and streaks but rather about living a better life, that's what makes this a truly transforming experience. Sadly, it's also the phase you just can't really put down on paper or describe to a person, which is why we'll probably always be mocked in every crevice of the internet. I think only experience can make someone truly appreciate nofap. And even then it depends entirely on them, how they approach it and whether or not they'll commit to what it demands

You can check in as often as you want, you have to check in once a week but once a day won't hurt either.
