Memorizing Pi

    I'm curious if anyone else has memorized the decimal places of Pi: 3.1415926535...etc.
    I once had 300 memorized but I forgot since I didn't practice. I remembered 110 but I've been practicing and I'm up to 250 now. I sometimes mentally recite it when I need to distract myself from fantasies. I'd like to memorize 1000 but it seems daunting.

    I used to do that with the elements from the periodic table, but I haven't practiced in a long time.

    There are people competing against each other in memory tournaments. I can see how learning the pi decimals might be of interest to some people.
    I hardly admire anything anymore. I took the effort red pill. Anyone can do almost anything with the right mindset and motivation.
