porn filters???

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Fredi-the, May 2, 2019.

  1. I am trying to educate myself on porn filters for my computer and cell. Does anyone know if a Apple Macbook (Mac OS X) laptop has any kind of filters on them? Would they be built into the browsers maybe? I have looked on Safari, Firefox and Chrome but haven't seen anything. If there isn't any, can someone recommend a good free easy to use app I could download and install on my computer and my android LG cell phone? Thanks for your help, fellas. Have a great fap free day.

  2. If you want to fap, like HELL YOU WANT TO FAP, than NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP YOU.

also, if you SERIOUSLY HAD ENOUGH SEX WITH YOUR HAND, than nothing would make you fap

  3. Sounds like you don't agree with porn filters. I am of the same mind since I would likely just figure out a way around them. I just wanted to try them out and see what happens as there is an odd chance it might work.

I put the filters on my iPhone and iMac. Look under “Settings”>>Screentime>>content and privacy restrictions

Yes, I know that I could easily turn them off, but it provides me a few seconds to reconsider and those few seconds have stopped me from using porn more than once.

  5. Thanks for this info but I couldn't find it on my macbook. Is this
"Settings”>>Screentime>>content and privacy restrictions" in a browser (Firefox, etc) or on the computer hard drive? My macbook is 12 years old so maybe has other titles? Thanks for your help.

    You can try this way:
    1. Get a router that can install openwrt firmware. List: https://openwrt.org/toh/recommended_routers
    2. Install openwrt on it. You can google how to do it.
    3. Set up your router DNS to 185.228.168.168 and 185.228.169.168 (Cleanbrowsing Family DNS)
    4. REDIRECT DNS REQUESTS TO DEFAULT DNS SERVER
Go to 192.168.1.1 > Network > Firewall > Custom Rules
    Paste these:
    iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i br-lan -p udp --dport 53 -j REDIRECT --to-port 53
    iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i br-lan -p tcp --dport 53 -j REDIRECT --to-port 53
    ip6tables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i br-lan -p udp --dport 53 -j REDIRECT --to-port 53
    ip6tables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i br-lan -p tcp --dport 53 -j REDIRECT --to-port 53
    5. Change password of your router. Write it down.
    6. Put that router in a safe place and out of your sight so you can't easily access to it.
    7. Give the router password to your mom and tell her everything. Ask her not to give it back to you for 1 year.
