I've done it again.

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by WhyNotStop, Apr 16, 2019.

  1. I've come to the realization I'm too clever for myself. Why do I say that? Well I've blocked myself from porn and I quickly found a way to get to porn on a closer and dangerous level. I've been communicating with women and I use psychology in order to get as much possible (image wise) at the lowest price. It always works. Now I'm seating here wonder why I don't put these powers of being able to make money and save money to use. I still can't believe porn addiction has reached a point in my life where I'm willing to pay in order to get content because the regular stuff does not satisfy me. I've noticed I create this kind of relationships with the girls where I manipulate them into giving me what I want. Almost as a digital prostitute. I have very good business skills that are wasted on porn. I've noticed my mind is quickly deteriorating.... Hell I'm about to become a man (graduating) next month. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of this shit. I WANT OUT! This is no longer a fair fight.... Porn's got me by the balls and its destroying who I am.

Fyi you're not that clever if you're paying for it . To get out, I did a ton of research on, your brain on porn. There's really good things to read there! Good luck !

  4. I have "Your Brain On Porn" and other self improvement books. But once I fall back into porn I stop reading. The reason I'm calling myself clever is because my addict personality is always one step ahead of me, always finding his way back to pmo. If I could cast that very same energy and turn it into something great I will be unstoppable.

I definitely agree! Keep on trying! There will be a day in your future when you will put that wisdom into something other than stupid pmo! I'm here if you need a buddy! Next streak starts now?

Yessirr! Save that energy for one of those cute girls from school! Not in some digital fantasy. You start storing up those hormones and testosterone, they'll notice it. Believe me!

  8. Yes. Has happened to me before. I've gone about a week without pmo and all of a sudden I've have girls flirting with me and doing things to catch my attention. It's crazy.

The fact that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired is a catalyst for substantial change. It is a very powerful cure since it's linked to the survival instinct. As for your statement "it's not a fair fight", I would be careful with the statement as it may overwhelm you and provoke relapse. This game is psychological in nature, so my advise is
    1. just observe the frustrations and not react to them
    2. be specific on what exactly PMO is not a fair game. PMO is life and life is also not a fair game, yet we move on with life trying to deal with only one issue at time
    3. you have successfully used psychology for women, apply it for your own good now and manipulate your self for your own good
    4. finally, see it as a journey. Concentrate on the desired state, identify the obstacles and deal with each one of them separately. Obstacles are but a test between you and the great state you want to achieve, so see them as allies.

  11. I’m a lead hvac technician and when I first started nofap, my people and career skills often found there way into how my brain successfully got what it wanted. I know the feeling. It’s like your looking at yourself from the outside while your brain is using your intelligence and people skills as a tool to conquer women. And it’s effing good at it. resist my friend. Only time can heal

  12. Thanks to all of you. You've helped me remember how awesome life is without porn. The attention from women, the confidence, the feeling of power, and the overall improved brain functionality. I really appreciate all of your help. Thanks guys!

The trick lies in finding out why are you doing so? Is it loneliness? Then be social. Is it stress? Life is full of fun activity, choose whatever appeals to you. Is it being deprived of romance? Not true, you are depraving yourself, go get married (but of course after quitting with a least 3 months). Is it because you have no friends? Then go make some friends. It seems difficult to quit. But the truth is it in NOT. You are NOT a heroin addict; you can do it.

Moreover, change your daily routine, do things differently and fill your schedule up with activities.
I would also recommend checking out this app called Reborn. It has tons of “Alternative activities” that you can start doing today

Remember that you’re missing out on beautiful things in life just because of porn addiction. It will get you nowhere. Start taking action and find your passion in life away from illusion.
