I think I belong here, what do you all think?

    Hi NoFap,


    While I don't see myself as necessarily a porn addict, I do suffer from similar symptoms.


    When I was an adolescent in middle school, I began m by laying on my bed, on my stomach, and with my dick pointed toward my feet I rubbed the blankets. This, to what I understand now, damaged by dorsal artery and numbed my penile nerves. I did this all while watching porn until I found my first girlfriend, then it was occasionally with porn.


    Once in high school however, I switched to m "normally" with my hand, while sitting on my bed, but could only finish/feel progress move when I grip relatively hard, go fast, and pointed my toes while flexing my legs to a point where my knees hurt.


    All of this combined made my first relationship very stressful in the bedroom when I had trouble getting up, and never had success climaxing unless self-agitated.


    Has anyone else been in my position? What can I expect from continuing my nofap journey, I am currently on day 5 and feeling good about myself. I want to be able to have a normal, mutual sexual relationship with my partners from now on, and hope rebooting helps.

    Well I'm going to see how 90 days feels anyway. I'll have a story to tell if no one else has seen my symptoms before. I am determined.

    Day 8. Going to continue my story here.

    Since it has been 4 years since the last time I masturbated prone, and that sexual encounters with my recently ex-girlfriend show that ED is not much of a problem anymore other than from performance anxiety. Where my problems pertain is from desensitization from both prone masturbation as an adolescent and from dry masturbation over the recent years.

    My plan is to this summer, when I am no longer in a dorm and have privacy to masturbate again, is end my PMO streak my trying to masturbate in different positions (kneeling, standing mostly) and either buy a real fleshlight or make homemade masturbators.

    I still have urges in the morning when I wake up and if sexual opportunities arise before summer I won't turn them down in fear of not climaxing, but take them as an opportunity to observe progress. If I have trouble finishing I will understand and stay determined on my progress.

    Thank you for listening. I can't wait to feel normal agian.

    TBH, I also have the same problem of doing m in the position you did. I do m almost every night while asleep in my subconscious mind. I hope that we get a solution regarding this. And all the best to you.

    Guys, if you want to heal yourselves, STOP the PMO and STOP the MO for a while. Don't experiment with other M methods and hope you'll end up well. What you'll end up with is substituting one false method for another. Prone undoubtedly caused problems (as you know...) but so do other methods. If you are trying to heal your mind and body, engaging in MO sessions including artificial devices in your MO sessions is just going to delay or prevent your body and mind from healing.

    I'd encourage you both to try at least a 30 day reboot, hard mode. You may require longer to fully reboot especially since it seems like prone did a lot of damage to you. You can read about rebooting and hard-mode on this site's home page. Should be under the "getting started" link.

    Thanks for the recommendations, it helped me decide to go hands-off for at least 3 more weeks. Seeing how it goes.

    Good decision. Make more like it !

    I believe staying on no PMO will help improve your difficulties. Be aware that our healing never happens as fast or as easy as we'd all like it to occur, but it really does happen and we really do get better. Stay with your journey, don't fall prey to urges to "check your progress" by M. Your equipment will heal fine as long as you don't interfere with the process by MO and certainly no PMO.
