56 days in, decided to stop caffeine too as I'm not feeling as good as I thought

  1. I'd say I've felt great 20% of the time and awful the remaining 80% since I started this again. I'm a huge caffeine addict so I've cut it out. I've just cut out 2 of my biggest addictions – 2 things I run towards when I'm feeling depressed, sad, or lonely. SO, I guess this bumpy ride is to be expected

    Benefits so far:
    • Average morning wood every day (for the past 10 years, hardly ever got morning wood - once or twice a month...)
    • More confident
    • Libido is slowly returning
    • Confident in having sex again - should the opportunity come about right now

    Bad:
    • OCD still is pretty relentless
    • Mood swings
    • Irritable
    • Relentless depression at times

I don't think I'll relapse. I've realized that there's nothing to relapse to. I've tried that way and it took me to an awful place. Looking forward to making the 90 days. Before, 4/5 years ago – I made 74 days on my first and only other attempt at this. I remember having great benefits around that time, only I was getting super intense of waves of anxiety during.

I know what to expect now – I won't mess up!

I would like to go out dating again but money is tight and I've got fixed braces on for 6 more weeks. Like it wasn't hard enough as it is lol.

good call about ditching the caffeine.
For people like me it's even worse than PMO. I'm highly sensitive to the stuff. Drink a coffee in the morning = down in the dumps 4 hours later with NO energy at all but somehow still anxious.

  3. If you drink caffeine I recommend green tea, it has just enough to activate your brain without causing jitters.

  4. I find I'm too sensitive for that too! It's fine at the time. It's about 4/5 hours later where it's wearing off that I get all twitchy and ocd like again! I'm realizing that caffeine just doesn't agree with me at all.

  5. Thats understandable, caffeine is not for everyone.
