  2. Strong struggle. My whole body is longing for arousing activity. I am holding strong. I will go walk and gym today and hope no super hot women will be there today. But yes physical activity helps a lot in this stage and tendency to be lazy is there which I must overcome. I know what to do. Now I need to succeed! How strong this energy

  3. I am working on summarizing my ways I found. Methods and ideas that help me. I want to start a group and share and invite others to add to the list of tools. I am convinced it’s a combo nation of things it needs to combat this addiction. You can have found methods that work. But maybe one falls back because another method wasn’t applied yet or known or able to apply.

  4. Day 96...I have left the porn blocker on for a few days now and the storm of urges have subsided...I have been observing them with care and kindness...hello old friend...coming to visit me again. It helps me to see the urges are coming and going, without any ownership of my part...they come, visit, and return from where they came, not mine to hold or pursuit. Having the porn blocker helps a great deal in this exercise because there is no way to pursuit it.

No porn for about 24 hours, a small victory but I'm hopefully on the path now.

I've identified one Porn trigger is when I'm feeling crap about myself or very anxious about something.

Gotta train my mind, put it in a "mind gym" or something. I'm currently experimenting with the "Waking Up" app by Sam Harris. So far so good!

Well written post, well done. I identify a lot with what all your bullet points. Maybe try the NoFap app and Emergency Mode for the last point.

Hotel stays for business are tough! I would advise to maybe walk for an hour and explore the local area, it tires you out and your brain feeds off of being in totally new surroundings.

Thanks @nofapnofapnofap. The walk is a good idea, unless the urge is closer to midnight. That’s where meditation needs to come back in for me. Or the EMERGENCY BUTTON, I keep forgetting it’s there.

Day 7. Because of a busy week at work, I knew it was going to be an easy six days. But now I have a three-day weekend ahead of me, so I'm starting today with a journal entry, a check-in here, and watching one of Mark's youtube videos. I also looked at the first three months of 2019 and want to be grateful for a few things--for a 38-day streak and a 19-day streak, for my best January, my best February, and my second-best March.
I'm feeling great right now--taking a month off from alcohol and limiting my social media time (by removing it from my phone) has given me more energy, clarity, and focus. Thanks for the support.

Was extremely busy for the past three days because of work, and did not check the site. Just got caught up and so glad to see so many quality posts. And thank you @emanuel_free and @Circleinthesquare for teaching me something new this morning! I had never heard of either one.

This is great. Must be listened to while watching the video! Looks like it may have been filmed in Iceland. https://www.bing.com/search?FORM=SLBRDF&pc=SL14&q=toby mac elements

  14. Welcome @Peterliberation , @GainingFocus and @jcforreal ! We just happen to have 3 open spots. Hope this group is beneficial to you. I will add you to the leaderboard tonight when I update the ranking.

  15. Checking in. I saw a tempting picture on Facebook a few minutes ago. Immediately went to this group thread, maybe subconsciously thinking something like "maybe everybody else had a relapse, then I can have one too." Then I saw some encouraging posts and new members wanting to join, it snapped me out of my backsliding mindset. Thanks to all of you for helping me stay on track.

  17. Day 97....
This week I realized that I am always waiting for something external to be completely open for happiness....even though I have known all my life that this is false...i am working on letting go of this lie to truly enjoy the moment without any expectations

  18. Day 2, going ok, the withdrawal symptons will not start for probably another few days.

  19. @Freeman82 - I see you climbing back up that ranking. I am determined to keep up with you this time. :D
