Old guy with a new beginning

    Hi I'm nearly 50 and have been looking at por n for 40 years. It has become progressively worse with the advent of the internet to which I seek more extreme and perverse images and videos to pleasure myself as normal copulation doesn't do it. Desensitized i think the word is. Looking back i consider myself to have low self esteem, unsocial, always looking down or away due to this guilt that hangs over me.
    Well I have had enough. I want to be free from this burden and hold my head high and look people in the eye. I have already started on the journey but I know I will need some support in the way that is why I am here.

    I tend to feel like one of the older guys here as I am 55. I've had a masturbation habit most of my life. I think porn found me, cuz I was not looking for it, but once it started, well, you know the routine. I am a family man too. And I made a very long list the other day of all the things porn definitely cost me, or potentially cost me, and it was really tough writing that out. However, the last few weeks have been great.
