What's After Finishing 90-Day?

What do u mean not supported by nofap philosophy? Years of porn for 90 days definitely isn’t enough, each day is greater than the Other, what I’m feeling now isn’t how i felt at 90 days, there’s a lot improvement at 90 days but the longer you abstain the better. definitely think one year should be the new 90

 

I haven't read much. But so far I haven't read anything that supports perpetual abstinence from M,O. I've only given my opinion thus far in this thread. If someone disagrees that's cool. I'm also open to looking at sources of information/science/data that support lengthy to unending NoPMO.

 

I seriously don't believe in an unending PMO.
I do however believe a radical, life-long "No-Porn" policy.
It doesn't even feel like much of a fight anymore at the moment. The benefits of not watching it are burned into my brain, and it will carry over to my next relationship, whenever that might happen.
At least i can say i did my part in preparing for it in the best way possible.

 

Yeah I agree with the one-step-at-a-time approach so as to avoid too much pressure.

 

What I most like about this forum is when you read what someone else has written and it hits home. This resonates with me.

PMO was present in my last two relationships and was incredibly unhelpful and unhealthy. I didn't know it at the time and I paid the price.

Time is a great healer. Recognising I had a problem (some time later) was a significant step. Finding the strength to tackle the problem has been one of the best decisions of my life. I feel better prepared for my next relationship, should I bump into her one day, now that I have begun nofap.

However, I must not become complacent. I recognise fighting pmo is just one action that can lead to a better life for me. I also recognise the need to take one day at a time.

Humbly, I have surpassed 90 days. As the days pass, I pay less attention to exact numbers (I check the day counter from time to time) - I just know I'm getting better.

Not wanting to make light of what to do after 90 days but there are 2 choices: Day 91 or Day 0

I chose (past tense) to use pmo.
I am now choosing (present and future) to do something else.

...91...

I agree with not counting the days.

In the meantime lets become the most awesome guys ever, so every girl remembers sex with us for the rest of their life's. Whether we bang 1,2,10 or 100. Lets improve our own quality.

About 7 weeks into NOFAP. Life changing, not really. My wife still hates me (no change). But, I am not discouraged. She will come around or she won't. It;s her choice.

I've always had great energy (exercise regularly), my professional life is rewarding. My life was not so bad before NOFAP. I was not one of those victims who spend ours at M. Perhaps once per week or twice per month. Still, I plan to keep on my NOFAP adventure. Why not?

Various scholarly articles on psychological sexual health all agree M is an activity associated with immaturity.

 

90 days is just the beginning for a normal reboot.
Some people need 180 days others maybe a whole year to reboot especially those who have been addicted for decades.
Also after day 90+ there are other benefits. It just gets better and better the more energy you build up.

 

Someone told me that is necessary two years to rewiring the brain, so after 90 days you should focuse in the next 90 days, until you complete 2 years

 

I personally don't like setting a target number of days. I feel like I might go back to watching porn if I get to 90 days. I just want to continue as long as I can.

 

good question -

for some people like myself, I am choosing to go for a year without it, to focusing my time and energy to other areas of my life.

But after 90 days I'm considering starting romantic relationships without sex for at least 90 to 180 days.

Get to see each other's anger, selfishness, and how we show up when tired, hungry and bitchy, money issues, etc.

Then after we pass the trial periods of our relationship I will release the beast out of it's cage! LOL kidding

Then you become a priest or a munk LOL seriously though, why Hard Mode another 90 days. You're training yourself to not be sexual at all. Is that what real focus is? Not being distracted by energy stealing sexual desires?
