Brain Fog even after 30 days streak?

is that common for anyone after 30 days of no PMO? Feeling a bit lethargic and that my mind isn’t quite thinkjng as well despite no PMO in the last 30 days while working on applications for grad school.

Granted I did just come off of adderall about a week ago, but I only used it for 17 days at a low 10 mg dose per day to help with studying for a little while, while undergoing NoFap.

Any thoughts on how to overcome the brain fog in the short term besides exercise and a good diet?

takes a while. 30 days is nothing compared to the damage that's been caused on the brain, if you've been fapping for years. It could take up to a year man, depending on your level of addiction. It's normal bro, i had brain fog for about 70 days and it subsided. Eating healthy nutritious food and excerising, helps your brain heal faster, which also should help with the brain fog

Gotcha it’s been about 5 or so years, but the latter 3 were the most heavy because I was working through a lot of issues and before that it was like once a week since I had a long term girlfriend. Well I realized how much I enjoyed hanging out with real people the other day so I guess I can take that as a sign of progress.. wish the other part of that mental side would improve just as quickly haha

I am on 25 days today soon and I have all great negative superpowers they ever exist. Brain fog, depression, emptiness, hopelessness, darkness, bad thoughts, inner anger, self-hate and so on :D we can't expect abracadabra in short period of time.

I still get brain fog but it's usually because of other things. Lack of energy, caffeine withdrawal, smartphone distractions. The modern world is always crying out for your attention. Our goal is to practice focusing and switching off from time to time

That’s my next goal! Reducing amount of smartphone usage although that’s how I keep up with my news and music and lately trying to keep in touch with friends.. it’s hard

I agree with this, I don’t really drink as often as I used to in college. Nowadays I never feel like I have a iron liver anymore and always end up going to sleep early if I do drink

  12. Dry January has done wonders for my clarity and opened my eyes really. I used to binge every other weekend/once a month not good at all. Not good for recovering from pmo either.
