Just keep in mind that it will go away soon but will leave you with regrets if you repeat the same mistake

Take a cold shower. Get up and do something. Take a walk or whatever distracts you.

Stay strong and you will be proud of yourself afterwards.

  11. I appreciated your encouragement. At least the worst is over and the terrorists neutralized. I feel much better today.

  12. Day 6- I survived a deluge of negative emotions yesterday and the very high urges to watch PMO. It was so difficult. My goodness! I would call that a real battle to the death. I came out victorious. It gives me confidence regarding the next big battle with my addicted self.

  13. Yes, Dr. Joe Dispenza. His work and research has been an eye opener to me too and helped me achieve my highest streak of 80 days. I have read his book Break the habit of being yourself and currently listening to the audio book You are the placebo. Really crucial information is contained in these books to change deeply entrenched habits and compulsive behavior.

Be patient with yourself. Your brain is your friend, not your enemy. You may not like what comes from your heart, but try to just observe it without judgement. Like a scientist in a laboratory, with interest and wonder. It will take time to heal from porn addiction, and things will get better as you do.

Never fall for the lie that the urges will last until you give in. Urges come and go, and you can outlast them. Get busy with some other part of your life and they will be gone before you know it. I wish I had understood this when I was growing up... it would have saved me a lot of anguish.
