Daily Intention Thread : "Today, I am... + POSITIVE AFFIRMATION"

Today I will not use porn because I want the self-discipline, focus, and increased drive to fulfill my goals and make myself the best person I know I can be, along with having more fulfilling friendships and relationships with everyone around me.

I do not want to use porn. I am done crawling back to that ugly space, and seeing these intimate acts displayed for the world to see in the most perverse and disgusting ways. Sex is special and it's something you share with someone who you care about. It's not all gangbangs, Dp's and money shots. Porn has made me a guy fixated on an unreal expectation of sex. Making scenarios and glamourising women to a point where it was no longer seeing them for themselves but just their bodies. I am done with that, I don't want to be hooked on this anymore because it just leads me feeling ashamed. I want to control this addiction and make it be something that I can manage without the idea of having a binge or resort to jerking off to porn when I'm finding studies hard or I am just bored. That's not me anymore, and I want to maintain that.

 

Today i will not use porn as:

I can only seem to remember life where I have been watching porn.

I want to re-discover what life was like before that, not having the shame looming over you and avoiding eye contact but rediscovering lifes real pleasures

Today I will not use porn because I have an objective which means a lot to me and which I will not sacrifice for an unhealthy habit. I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and not be ashamed. I want to be able to lie in bed at night and not be ashamed. I want to be able to look at people in the eyes and have nothing to hide. I want to be able to talk and move freely, not held back by uncertainty and shame.

 

Today i will not use porn, because i am making better plans to tackle this demon this time, and i will not be deterred

Today I will not use porn because I want to feel comfortable, safe, and confident; not agitated, anxious, and depressed.
