I thought I was doing so good, since 11 days is my longest streak. But then suddenly, last night, when I was alone, I PMO'd. I knew I made a promise to quit, but I couldn't stop touching myself. I feel like crap for relapsing. Please help me! How do I ignore my erection?

Willpower. Self-control. Also, try to distract yourself. Get up do something away from where you are tempted. You just have to look erections as bodily functions to ignore. You don't have to do anything about it, just get used to having them, and focus your mind elsewhere.

Update: It's been a while since I posted anything on NoFap, but guess what: I fucked up. I have PMO'd every single day since the end of my 11-day streak. I may have figured out a few reasons why I masturbate: boredom, anxiety, and not knowing how to properly stop being horny. I know I should be focusing on my schoolwork, but I'm gonna be honest; when I masturbate, it feels fun and relaxing. PLEASE help me find something else to end my boredom/focus on my studies because this porn crap is a waste of my time!

I think you shouldn't feel too bad about it. 11 days is quite amazing. I don't think I ever gone thru more then 3 days. The trick is too not let it bother you and keep at it. As longest you're doing it less and less you're progressing.

You are relying way to heavily on willpower. Willpower only lasts so long...11 days for you. Find some other tools to help during those weak moments because there will be a ton of them. It's kind of like trying to climb mount everest with zero tools except a ski jacket. Gear up for the long haul. This forum and many others are full of great ideas but you need to use them and no one can hold your hand.

First off, those two wishes contradict each other. If you really focus on your studies there won't be any boredom.

If you want to focus on your studies, make yourself want to study. Only see the positive in studying and tell yourself you want to. Allow yourself rewards for doing it. Maybe use subliminal messages and the like.

If studying is not enough, think about what your goals and passions in life are. What can you do to advance those? What are your friends/relatives doing that you can help with? Or use the information you can find on the internet. Learn a new language, learn survival, or learn whatever else interests you. Or take up sports.
Seriously, how can anyone in good health be bored? It is only because we are afraid of starting those kind of things. Get over that!

Hang in there man', one of the tricks is to set small goals and work your way up. Maybe start at going for 2 weeks. Then if that goes smoothly try upping the time for 3 weeks. One thisnive learned about psychology is the more that you accomplish your goals the better you feel about them. Even if they are small
