Finally, that's 30 days with no PMO...

So this is what 30 days without PMO feels like. My highest streak was 40 days, but this is the very first time I can stay clean from PMO whatsoever, last time I was edging all along for 40 days and I busted my nut when my favourite porn star uploaded a new video.

I remember when I was 14 days in, I became more confident, more motivated. I even got myself an accountability partner here at nofap.com. Although not extremely productive, I manage to get things done from day 14 to day 24. And then everything went downhill after day 24.

To be honest with you guys, I really cannot feel the benefit at this moment of writing. I think it is because of the flatline. Everything feels indifferent. I got sick, not sure if it is part of the flatline or genuine flu. I don't think I am motivated in doing anything productive, I don't see myself very confident either. Unlike most success stories, there is no miraculous girl or sexual encounter at all for the past 30 days. I still stutter when I speak. The only thing I am sure is that the brain fog is gone. But I hate it when I cannot present myself clearly albeit my brain is fully functional.

I struggle to call this a 'success story', I only post this here because 30 days is still an achievement, at least for me. Although I don't feel happy at all (indifferent), I am very proud of myself, I never thought I could stay clean for a whole month. I am still trying to do the 90 days challenge and I am confident I will return in 2 months and tell you guys I've managed to complete the challenge. By the time I reach 90 days, I should be fully recovered from the flatline and I should be able to come up with a better documentary of my journey.

    Hey man, first off, congrats!
Secondly, don't sell yourself short: 30 days is an amazing achievement, and you should feel very proud of yourself. For me it was the same. I didn't feel too different after 30 days, besides for my ever-growing conviction to keep going with my reboot. By day 60, I expect you'll start seeing changes in yourself, in your thought process, on your outlook on life. Don't give up, you can do it!

Dude you're doing great so far, I would kill to reach 40 days haha. But don't worry about feeling bad or indifferent, you're human and what you're experiencing are just how mood works on normal people, the thing is that you feel really bad because your brain is craving dopamine.

What I come to notice while being in nofap is that my mood works like a pendolum and sometimes I feel extremely good and other ones really bad and kind of depressed and the period of time between them can change from time to time but I rather go thru those mood swings that feeling like shit everyday when I was doing PMO all the time.

I hope that my ramblings help you at least a little brother, good luck!

  6. I think you made the mistake of expecting too much. That is the problem when "superpowers" have been promised.

Keep going bro..feelings come and go but one thing is for sure, you are on a positive healthy path..it will have a payout one way or another. It has to. Sometimes we get our focus or motivation pointed on the wrong thing and we come up feeling let down by our expectations. Just know you are truly on a great path staying away from porn. Ride the highs and lows. I'd imagine with time it will start to level out. Stay busy and focused on other things. Good job your post is still very encouraging to me thanks

    Hi friend

Congratulations for your 30 days achievement.

You are the only one that knows exactly how the last 30 days were for you. If you don't try changing the time you spent on PMO with other activities that are good for you, like exercises, study, being social and see friends or colleges it will be hard you.

Congrats on your 30 day achievement.

The fact that you are here in the first place means you realize the problem and you are willing to fix it. Always remind yourself that going back won't do you any better. And you will quickly be back to zero. If you stay strong, you will slowly see the better of you as others say. Be patient and stay strong, bro.

You did well man. You should be proud. Your brain fog clearing is a massive benefit. Plus, there's benefits you can't see and feel right now, but the rebooting process will allow you to experience these benefits in due course. Well done again!

Congratulations. I'm on day 32 and I still don't feel the benefits as well. But my longest streak was 68 days and I remember feeling the "superpowers", so they are true. Let's just be patience to reach there.

  12. i consider every day as new life. Because for some reason there are days when u feel like shit and when u feel awesome. Just a fucking mystery. Just the next day u feel good will be enormously good cause of ur achievments

From what I’ve been reading in other posts it sounds like the real benefits are noticed around 90 days. But I’m only at day 10 so I wouldn’t know.

I have many doubts about nofap.

I'm on day 200 and i still don't see the benefit. Maybe it's a placebo, who knows.

  16. Many people state that it takes a lot longer, so well done and keep going.
You may as well, as the alternative is returning to the pit of wanking and porn.

If you don’t believe in nofap, you don’t have to keep writing or even visiting here. Its your own experience which counts, not the others. If you believe you would be better off jerking off and watching porn, no one here will stop you to return to your past lifestyle.

I actually read a lot of people here who doesn't see benefits.
And i'm just writing about my experience, is that denied?
That also was an answer to an user who also is not seeing any benefits, so what's wrong with that?

Does it make you happy that others dont see benefits either? This is a website that is meant to help people quit porn and masturbation. Not to debate if nofap is positive. You can share your experience, but complaining about it in several posts won’t help anyone.
