Psychological Attacks During Withdrawal

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Deleted Account, Dec 3, 2018.

  1. I've been experiencing all sorts of weird thoughts/flashbacks during reboot..usually after day 7 onward..

Sometimes my mind gets bombarded with so many thoughts that I feel like I'm about to lose it or have a panic attack..

Other times I wake up in the morning with the most bizzare and ridiculous sexual thoughts..it's almost like I'm being attacked with thoughts by an outside force.

And other times it's lije I can literally feel that theres something happening inside my brain (like a weird tingly sensation).

Have any of you guys experiened these kinds of symptoms? Sometimes the "attacks" are so strong that it feels like its not even worth the fight.

There are demonic attacks, I know it's not scientific but it is taking place.

My man, it is totally normal, in my first few runs with a reboot, it was about December last year i felt like i was losing my mind, i was PMOing like 6 times a day for 10 years straight atleast, it happened between day 4 and 18, I really felt like losing my mind, i had thoughts I didn't wanted, I got panic attacks, and i really thought, I was going to a mental institution, but i got through it

During all of it, you are in a spiritual war and they will do everything they can to keep you in bondage to sin.

Yes it does man, it is totally normal to feel like that, remember your brain was 100 percent relied on PMO to give you that high dose of dopamine, and now your brain gets nothing at all, so the lack of dopamine is causing you to feel like that, but just stay in there man your dopamine levels wil return back to normal after day 30-90

I don’t know any serious former PMO addict who hasn’t experienced these. Check out my posts on withdrawals. I have had them all; panic attacks, anxiety, depression, racing thoughts, physical withdrawals including stomach cramps, indigestion, dizziness, headaches, mild nausea, the list goes on. Accept it’s a part of the process and that something must be changing deep within you if you’re experiencing withdrawal. Despite what it feels like while you’re going through it, withdrawal is a good sign, not a bad one.

Panic attacks are very normal ..especially you can have them when you drink coffee or drink cola as caffeine can cause panic attacks and huge anxiety. Many people have no idea about it. Also, withdrawal from porn is bringing any sort of weird experience. I also have sometimes very strong urges in the morning after wake up. Any sort of sexual fantasy and so on. Stay strong and stay focused.

The psychological issue that comes out while rebooting are really terrible, and i mean it.

You just have to go through them.

Sorry that you factor such realities out, doesn't help you at all.

  14. It is easy to test, watch some water baptism videos on youtube. If you got demonic "parasites" they should react.

I am curious how this nonsense can help a guy who is experiencing panic attacks at the moment and has many different negative thoughts.
and yes - thinking about it in a rational way helped me.

I want a seat in the audience for the case of demonic attacks. Prove it was a demonic attack. Prove it wasn't. While the demons hover over our heads cackling I'll take the science which says you should expect, among many other things, a "zombie-like" state.

    http://husbandhelphaven.com/porn-addiction-withdrawal-walkthrough/

What thoughts race through the mind of a zombie? Probably a ton of uncontrollable and unpredictable ones including extreme horrific taboo, inane gobbledygook, catastrophic scenarios, grandiosity, nothingness, and everything in between. Been there, got the t-shirt. Still there to some extent but can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So what if demons are the root cause? PMO addiction is what it is. The obstacles of withdrawal are what they are. If you want to solve the problem you need to get over the obstacles, demons or no demons.

Pascal's Gambit says it can't hurt to go to church and maybe even have a priest throw some holy water on you. But Pascal would also say look at the hard, cold clinical evidence and let it inform your thought and action. That is, expect and embrace the bizarre thoughts and feelings as a natural (albeit painful and difficult) part of your recovery.

Stay the course. Fight. Keep your guard up. Demons are a good metaphor for your own brain and how savage it can be to you during PMO withdrawal. It sure as hell has an army of demons to fight your will to quit and pull you back into active addiction. So I say whatever works for you to stay on the path, but don't rule out science.

  17. It is my opinion, so i maybe wrong, but i think demons are like parasites, they never the primary problem, but they are the rats on the garbage. Garbage is the emotional problems caused and numbed by the addiction. They make withdrawal more difficult, but not impossible to survive. They can be defeated using willpower too, so if you sober for long time they will become weaker, and move away maybe.

No one said PMO addiction is not the root cause of the symptoms. It is the number one for sure. Unfortunately science can not make demons visible at the moment, but part of that science, and medical field do not even approve that PMO addiction exists, even when we are here, exists, and kinda visible. :)
