I've been on nofap since 7th November.

I've been fapping since 8 years (If you want to know more of this story I can make another thread about it)

However I've decided not to do it anymore.
I am on day 21 now, and I keep sometimes in day get flashes of porn .
Now my question is those flashes as bad as watching real porn?
    Will it go away?
Is this a process of an reboot?

Yeah sadly an addicted brain will always gives you feelings of nostalgia about it during reboot.

Best thing to do is to not let fantasies grow in your mind. Think about something else, focus on real life goals. Do genuine things to pass the urges. It can be painful sometimes when you have to sleep or relax but this is a fight we all have to lead. Don't let your mind trick you into thinking it's ok to do it just one last time, it's the biggest mistake a rebooter can make.

    Stay strong :)

Thanks , thats exactly what wont happen I hope so.
You really understoo me and I wont let porn affect me ever again

  4. Unfortunately, that's just how things go. Flashes of this stuff will pop in your head, and you really just have to come to terms with it. There's no shame in it, you just need to learn to control the images and redirect yourself and lower their frequency. This is just done through time and acceptance.
Soon enough, these thoughts will become so infrequent that they're negligible. You just need to stay strong and keep trying.

    Exactly.

I still have flashes every down and then but I think that's normal. I've read stuff on here on people that once they reached like 60 or 90 days without PMO, that would become a distant memory. They would barely think about that stuff.

I'm on my 10th day so far and barely been thinking about that. Because I keep myself busy by training.

  6. Totally normal, they do die down eventually I have found when you go further in recovery.

I became aware that i was a porn addict in march of 2018 since then I've been working as i can to eliminate porn from my life and the flashes of porn scenes were always present in my imagination. All my fantasising felt kinda pornish and only now 7 months after starting it real life experiences are popping up in my mind instead of porn scenes.

I couldn't understand how my real life sex experiences didn't feel as strong as porn scenes in my imagination, but seemingly it takes time to the brain weaken the neurotransmissor pathway connected to porn stimulation. So you will need time to get it fixed if your experience replicates mine.
