I just can't stop. I try it, since a long time... Im 20, and struggling with porn since 3 3years... .

I had my longest time PMO free 5 weeks.

But since some time, I cant even make a week PMO free... .

I would like to have some PC software, to send the websites I visit to a friend...i think this would help me a lot. Are there some of this websites?

How do you know you can't stop? Other people have put the habit aside - how are you different? It sounds like you have a false belief you need to get rid of before you can proceed.

If you have a friend you can trust who knows about computers, you can ask him to block porn website in your "host file". This is very efficient if you do not know how to deactivate this and moreover it will block porn on any app you may install on your PC. To do this you will need a list of porn website. I'm not sure it's a good idea if I post those list here but it's easy to find it on the web. If you need, I can send it in pm. Oh and I forgot to say this is completely free !

It's a faith issue, I see that you are a Christian - where is your faith? Do you believe you have the ability to control yourself? This simply a desire you have chosen to make strong, ask Christ to help you make it weak enough to begin saying no to it for good. Unbelief will get you nowhere.

Arf... That is the problem when you know things about computers ;) ! Well try to block those porn website in your host file yourself anyway. At least, this will prevent you from seeing triggering pictures. I did for myself and it works well.

Try to avoid social media also. Go on facebook if and only if you're not alone in the room. Delete your facebook bookmark. In short, make your environment as reboot friendly as possible. Trust me it helps a lot !

Computer is not the problem, it's a heart and self control issue. I'm on a computer now, and when an image of a woman pops up I turn my eyes away turn my browser else where. You are choosing to meditate on these women and let lust build. It's your decision - don't blame the computer.

I'm christian myself. Just for you to know, looking at porn is considered as a grave sin. Of course you can be forgiven but you must really try to stop. When I recently relapsed, it was when I stop praying everyday. So I think praying is helping a lot. For some people who are not believers, praying can be considered as meditation. No doubt it is helping !

Sure you're right. But then it is easier if those pictures don't pop up ! That's the interest of the blocking system we are talking about ;)

You need to mature to the place where the thought of the image and your dwelling on it immediately repulses you, think of it as death and decay popping up in your face and instantly turn from it. Get better at doing this quicker and quicker. It's the opposite of what you have been doing where you dwell and meditate to get the drug effect.

Interesting thought. This is certainly what we should eventually manage to do. However I'm pretty sure seeing those king of pictures will make me relapse right now so I prefer to stay safe for the moment.

What do you mean by this exactly ?

You allow yourself to entertain those images and dwell upon them, because it has a drug like effect.

If you want to change external condition, you must change the cause. Most people try to change condition and they fail. Change the cause and you change the effect.

It’s okay to masturbate. A human function that doesn’t hurt anybody isn’t a horrific thing. Masturbation is healthy, reduces your risk of prostate cancer, and reduces tension, both sexual and emotional. Masturbation at excess is of course, harmful, as is anything nonessential at excess. But masturbation in moderation is normal, healthy, and should not be shamed

Hi there, I'm new to the site & have been trying to attempt this for a while. What has really helped my self-control is this book - 'The Chimp Paradox: The Mind Management Programme to Help You Achieve Success, Confidence and Happiness.' It has helped my self control massively. I know different things work for different people, but I would try reading it (even if you're not a book person... I'm not but it has done wonders). Give it a try.

Sex is meant to be experienced between two members of the opposite sex in the context of a loving covenantal relationship for the purpose of bonding and procreation. Your advice to people to masturbate won't be seen as very wise here. In fact, if you are following your own advice I feel sorry for you because you are in bondage. This type of sexual expression that you advise will always lead to bondage.
