Undesirable links still showing up in iOS Safari

    so yeah. Months ago I went through my bookmarks, history, reading list and everything else on my Safari app on iOS. But for some reason, there are still some links to old porn pages I had gone to. This is really a problem because I’ll use the bar at the top to search for everything, and lots of times based on an innocuous word I’m using, it’ll have a “from bookmarks and history” link to the pages, which is a trigger. Any ideas of missing places? I’d realy not like to have them popup all the time.

    That’s been done, plus these links are over a year old. Would’ve been purged. History only goes back 30 days.

    I don't use safari, so i'm not sure, but in other browsers you have to delete "autofill suggestions" which is different than history. The other more extreme way if all else fails is to format your device.

    Oh, and one more thing. If you havent done this already, try going to manage apps, find safari there, and there might be an option to erase all data.

    Not an option on iOS, but good idea.

    I’ve deleted google search history, but that wasn’t it .

    But...

    Figured it out.

    So, in the reading list, so if you have a lot of links in the reading list, a little “Show All” button pops up in the bottom left. Hit that, and bingo! Found them. Deleted them and they are no longer an issue.

    I have literally been looking for those for like more than a year.

    Thanks everybody for your suggestions.

    I also had this situation. It turned out that I picked up the virus and broke me. at first I was very scared and I was ready to do everything to prevent this from happening again. I just installed myself KeepSolid VPN Unlimit. Now I am sure that nobody follows my actions on the Internet.
