I'm starting a psychiatric rehab soon. Has anyone here ever tried one?

I can't do this on my own. it's not for porn, but I need help with coping skills, depression, anxiety, etc. Maybe it's for the best. I don't drug or drink, luckily but the porn has gotten out of control. I am also bipolar. Attending soon 3 days a week. It'll also keep me more busy with my job around too. Has anyone here ever went to one and gotten something out of it?

I feel like I need to visit one too. I've pushed too much into the unconscious, I could do with rewriting.

Thank you. It’s just been so fucking difficult to get help and stay healthy. I need this, badly.

  5. Getting help will give you some different ideas and ways to look at things sometimes we get weighed down within are own thoughts an outside perspective is very helpful in decluttering the mind . Stay healthy

Yes, it helps. It can be cathartic to open up with a therapist about your addiction, shame, etc. You should see a therapist as well as a psychiatrist if it's determined you need medications. There's nothing wrong with being on antidepressant medications—in fact, 10% of the population is on them.

I am currently in therapy, but the psychiatric rehab is more interpersonal care where I see a psychiatrist and an advisor once a week (not a therapist).
